Broken.

My parents, dead. my brother, missing, my heart, broken.
While I was driven to the nearest orphanage, I asked the driver, "What's gonna happen to me?"
"Look, kid, I have no idea, I'm just drivin' ya there." He responded.
I stepped out of the car as soon as we stopped there, there was a woman at the door who greeted us, I didn't pay much attention to what she said, for I was looking at her beauty, she had curly jet-black hair, strikingly light blue eyes, the softest face I've ever seen, and dark brown skin.
"Hello, little June. I've heard your parents died in a fire, and, since your parents both were orphans as well, and didn't have any siblings, and since their cousins are all dead now, the will says you would go to us if anything happened to them, I will be taking care of you from now until you're an adult."
"In the orphanage?" I asked.
"No, personally, I was a friend of theirs."
I sighed, "Okay..."

we drove to her house, very close, and it was large, a mansion, it took a bit of effort to open the door, but while I was pushing, someone pulled on the other side.
"Hello, hello, hello!" the man at the door said.
I was on the ground from falling down, so I got up and responded, I would say quite rudely, "Who are you?"
"No need for that in this house, little snaptrap, my name is Benjamin, but you can call me Ben."
"and my name is Jackie, you can call me jack if you want to." said the Orphanage owner,
"I'm..."
"June, we know." they both said.
it was getting dark, and I was tired from all the crying, so I asked if I could go to bed.
"Sure thing, Snapdragon!" Ben said annoyingly.
I went to my room and stuffed my face in my pillow, and I cried and cried and cried, I got up to get some water and looked in the mirror in the bathroom, my eyes were turning gray, my iris and pupil were light gray, and my hands were tipped with black.
"JACKIE! BEN!" I cried loudly, "WHAT IS HAPPENING!?"
...nobody came...
I knew there was nothing I could do... so I sat in bed and waited.
for hours...
and hours...
until morning.
I looked at my arms again and they were completely black, and my chest, and legs, and face, and entire body was as well.
when they came home and saw me, they screamed and ran away, and called the police.
the police came, but I had a head start on running, and I know how to hide.
