What if Catra had escaped with Shadow Weaver from the Horde back before the Crimson Waste? Catra finds Shadow Weaver trying to escape and joins her forcefully causing the spell to fail and bring the two in the middle of the Whispering Woods. As the two begin their journey to Bright Moon, their relationship will either become more abusive... Or caring. I know that it's been a while since season two but my head's been wrapped around this for a while now so I've decided to go through with it!

In a small western town, two very different people get very similar news: both are great forces, destined to struggle against the other with death being the only clear end in sight. When Dr. D. John arrives in the isolated, small western town far away from his beloved north-eastern home, he finds himself ripped from the security of his old life. He is entranced by the outlandish citizens and intrigued by the mysterious natural phenomenon known as the Dimensional Synchromesh. He quickly realizes that in his new home, nothing is as simple as black or white. It is up to him to sort through the various shades of gray and find what role he plays in the small western town before an ominous battle shakes the world to its core.
