Chapter 6

~~Skylar's POV~~

(A.K.A Lucy)

"Please introduce yourself," Alexander gave me his devilish smile as his eyes twinkled with mischief. This guy really thought I'm fragile, doesn't he? He knew that I was uncomfortable here, sitting at the same table with all the Alphas. But guess what Mr Alpha, I was not thinking of backing down either. Two can play this game.

I stood up as confident as I could from my chair and replied, "My name is Lucy and I am Alexander's future wife. Meaning that I'm going to be your future sister-in-law." Wife? Where the hell did that come from? Anyway I tried pulling a straight face hoping they would believe me.

I reluctantly looked at them only for me to be welcomed by shocked faces. But Alexander seemed to be enjoying himself. That was clearly not what I was expecting . Honestly I thought he would spit out his red wine that he was currently drinking.

The table was silent. Total silence. I looked at the curly haired kid only to see his terrorised face. He looked as if he was going to cry. So the kid could cry, huh.

I could feel Zach chuckling beside me causing me to burst into fits of laughter. The others were looking at us as if we were those crazy monkeys that escaped the zoo. "Chill guys, I was just joking. I mean come on you guys really believed me?" Zach and mine's laugh, sounded so much similar to laughing pigs. Did that even exist, laughing pigs.

At the thought of that I roared even louder. Eventually my partner joined me and we were laughing to the point that we kept on hitting each other. Good thing he was a werewolf though. But for me it wasn't the case.

"Oww, you're hurting me." I massaged my shoulder as I glared at him; even though there was a huge grin on my face. "Sorry. We laugh like pigs." There he said it. Was he reading my mind or something.

"Its been a while since I had a great laugh." I thought.

"Ok now. Calm down." Alexander soon caught my attention and he did not seem to be happy about our childish behaviour or maybe he didn't like the joke. Suddenly the atmosphere became cold. I watched his blank face as he spoke, "Everyone else introduce yourselves. We shall proceed with the youngest."

I immediately turned my head to the curly haired kid. He crossed his arm and humphed his head towards his shoulder. He really did not like me, did he.

"Introduce yourself!" Alexander warned. The kid looked defeated. I guess the latter didn't want him to be mad so he stood up. " My name is Jaxon. And you better be prepared, because I'm not letting you get away with this." I gulped. Alexander seemed to be enjoying himself as he chuckled. But yesterday he was so sweet. Now what's wrong with him.

For real! Was he after my life or what. Arghh!!!

As if to ease the tension the red hair beside me spoke, "My name is Jaden. Nice to meet you."I nodded a 'nice to meet you too' to him. "Its my turn now. My name is Zachery. I'm this dummy's twin brother " the blondie pointed at Zach.

They did share some similar features but they were different. They had the same brownish eyes, the same blonde hair but they could be told apart... Unidentical twins I guess.

"Good now, shall we carry on with our lunch."

The twins would always joke around which made me less nervous during the meal. And for that I was grateful to them.I also noticed that the red hair, Jaden was the quiet one. The total opposite of the twins.
