Chapter 2: She Doesn't Even Acknowledge My Exists

I get up before my alarm and turns it off and head for the bathroom, but apparently my little brother beats me to it. "Every time".
" Come on Carter, unlock the door" I said as I rammed  the door with my left shoulder.
" My bathroom is being redone, so I have to use the guest bathroom."
" WE share the same bathroom. So don't you mean OUR bathroom is being redone. So that  means WE HAVE THE SHARE THE SAME BATHROOM" I said slightly frustrated and angry.
"YELLING WON'T YOU NOWHERE BRO". Carter said.
I sighed and banged on the door next thing you know both of my mom come out of her room and my dad come upstairs and they both say.
" What's with all the commotion"
" I'm telling Carter to unlock the door so we can both just get ready. However, he wants to be his drama king self and do the most" I said
"Jay, just use our bathroom to get ready" My dad said.
" Okay, Thanks" I said, making my way to their room.
" No problem, honey" My mom said.
As she then said to Carter through the bathroom door.
"And Carter, stop hogging the bathroom, everybody else wants to be clean too" My mom said.
" Okay Mommy" Carter said and with that my parents went downstairs.
As shake my head and then took care of my business and jetted out the house saying goodbye to my parents and into my range rover evoqu. As Carter runs after me, then hops into the  passenger seat. Trying to catch his breath as I make my way to Jamal and Jackson's house. Then Carter says " you couldn't wait for me" Carter said in his state of heavy breathing.
" You were taking too long" I said

" Really, that's your excuse, I said wait two mintues" Carter said now in his normal voice.

" In my eyes it looked like five minutes " I said. As I pull up to Jamal and Jackson's house.

" I don't know how much ego could live in one house together, that  must be a headache for the parents "Carter said.

Well their parents have been married almost nine years, so their parents have been married for almost  nine years, so their problems use it.

As, I finish my statement Jamal and Jackson enter the back of the car and Jamal greeted.

" What's up, man? Jamal said as he enters my car.

" Hey bro" Jackson said as he also enters the back of the car.

" Nothing much, just chillin" I said as I put the car back in drive and make my way to the school. As soon as I'm close to the school I notice a girl and realized it's "Erin Johnson" I had a crush on her since freshman year, we are juniors now, but know matter what she does she always takes my breathe away. I soon come out my frenzy, by the sound of a car honking their horn at me.

Making me jerk the car back in motion and into the the school parking lot, and I parked my car. As Jackson, Jamal and I exit my vehicle, Carter already rush out the car leaving us behind going who nowhere?

Therefore me and the boys enter the school, we're like well known but we don't consider ourselves popular. We stick our small circle, Jamal, Jackson, Jordan and me and Carter also.  They call us The J's, which I kind of think is stupid, like if your gonna put a label on us be clever about the name, but anyway we had two minutes to get to our first class.

We made our way and we met up with Jordan and then all of a sudden we get crowd by girls. Who literally put us in a circle, but I guess what they wasn't only blocking me and the boys way to get to our class on time. They were also blocking the one and only "Erin Johnson".

You would not believe what I was thinking. I was think this is my chance for her to notice me, so when I was about to speak up and give these girls a piece of mind... She already did!

And... I got to say I never heard her speak in that kind of context before...she was feisty, brave, and really chill about the situation but still humble all at the same time.

However, with the statement she made and how she said it ,left everybody shocked and speechless including Jamal, Jackson , and Jordan and those girls did obey her wishes and move out of her way.

As always the confidence figure doesn't last long and she goes back to being her shy self,  mumbling a thank you and made her way to her friend. and i also noticed that she never manage to look back to see what caused the commotion in the first place. "She doesn't even acknowledge my exists." . I said and made my way to Physcis.
