Chapter 4 : Baby Steps

After hitting her with my locker. I carried her to the nurse bridal style,while yelling like a maniac. We soon make it to the nurse and after her smart comments she soon kicked me out. Forcing me to go to class. I just hope Erin's  is okay, because I know this Erin's first time having interactions with me. However, I'm not making a good impression what's so ever.

I  head to my Physics class, when I decided to skip. I've  never been the time to skip, but Cleo was all I could think about. The way she painful yet angry expression she had on face when I hit her with my locker, by accident.

Those face expression I feared to see on her face. Her beautiful face.

I've must've been in deep in my  thoughts, because I heard a faint yell from the security guard. That patrol are school hallways.

Even though his yell didn't phase me, my life flashed before my eyes as I was pulled into an old classroom. Which happened to be the old computer lab. As I looked around and saw the old computers, projectors and other electronic devices we use to used before the  school "upgraded".

However, as my eyes took in the scenery. They finally landed on the person  who saved me from getting my ear barked off. It was Erin Johnson.

" You must really love staring at me, huh?" Erin said in a soft whisper

Let's just say I spoke before actually thinking about my response.

" Well you are one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen" I said that with  so much pride and joy as I have her a slight smile.

Her cheeks flustered as she bit down on her thumb nail, but she switch mood and fired back saying with a scoff.

" Oh please, I but you say that to all the girls to get what you want. Well I got news for you whoever you are?".
I'm not that easy.

She looked so cute when she's angry. Anyway I gave her the most truthful answer in the most nonchalant yet intimidating way.

" I don't like easy,  easy is boring, I like a challenge and just so you know I don't get what I want, handed on a silver platter. I work  my ass off Erin. I  finish off with a smirk.

Then as I she stood there in somewhat of a shock formation. I stalked towards her. But she seemed to gain some form of realization and started walking backwards. To a point her back hit the stone painted walls.

I was soon able to hover over her. Making are heads touch and lips inches apart. In one swift motion I said.

" I'm sorry I caused that whole riot of girls this morning. I'm sorry, I was staring at you today and nervously fell  out my chair.I'm sorry,  I hit with my locker that was an accident. Can we just start over?. I said giving her  slight puppy dog eyes.

" Sure, Fine "Baby Steps". Erin said sighing.

I moved back a good amount of space.  I wanting her to feel uncomfortable then she probably already was. I stuck my hand out introducing myself.

" Hi I'm Jay Knight" I smiled confidently.

Erin straighten up, fixed her shirt and grabbed my hand and shook it and said.

" I'm Erin Johnson " Erin said as she smiles shyly.

And there I go again speaking before thinking.

" Oh I know" I said shaking her hand slowly enjoying her touch. Like I enjoy   carrying her to the nurse and hovering over her like I did a minute ago.

I soon realized what I said and let go of her hand immediately. As I scratch the back of my neck. I hand brushed my waves to the front. However, Erin awkwardly laughed and quickly grabbed her bag and exit the old vacant computer lab. As the bell rings.

I sighed and said to myself.
" Stop embarrassing yourself Jay.". I said and sighed once again and walked out the room. Head for my next class.
