As I drive home I all I can think about is Erin and how I really got to spend time her. Even though she gave me some attitude half of the time. I enjoyed it and thought it was cute. I pulled up into the drive away of my home. Grab my book-bag and got out of my car locking at I walked to the front door only to hear noise from the back yard.

I went through the side gate and saw Carter and some of his friends playing football. When sudden realization it hit me that I was suppose to pick Carter from school. Carter notices my presents.

" Well look who finally decide to show up to two hours later." Carter said with the football in-between his arms.

" Look I sorry, I got side track" I said but was interrupted.

" Bah Bah, Its cool man my friend Connor and his mom gave me a ride. And I covered for you with mom telling her. You to stay after school for some tutoring thing." He said.

" Oh okay, thanks" I looked at him very suspicious because he normally would do something like they unless.

"Okay what do you want?"

" For you to take me and my friends to the next party you get invited too and to do do my laundry and clean my room.

" No to the party and room cleaning and yes to the laundry." I said because his room is disgusting and I know us guys get this perception that I rooms are dirty and a messy based of tv. But Carter took that troupe to a whole new level. Plus, I somewhat of a clean freak.

"Yes to all three or I telling my you forgot about me and ditch me for a girl."

" How you know I was with a girl" I said looked at him suspiciously.

" I have my resource. Now do we have a deal or not. Because if not I can just go in the house right now and rat you out." He said with a smirk on his face.

He thinks he's clever, but what he doesn't know is that if he goes in their tell mom. I forget to pick him and I both will get in trouble. Because I might have forget to pick him up but he lied to her face, and one thing mom hates is lairs.

I pinch the bridge of my nose and let out a sigh. " Fine, you and your friends can come to the next party I go to and I'll do your laundry for a week and I'll clean you room tomorrow.

" Yes" Him and Connor high five each other.

" But if I clean your room, you have to keep it clean or you won't be able to come to the next party with me." I said

" What? How am I suppose to do that?"He looked at me confused.

" I don't know figure it out. Later." I said and walk towards the door and went into the house. I walked into the kitchen. I saw my mom preparing what looks like dinner.

" Hey mama, what are you doing home this earlier" I said as I came up behind and kissed her on the cheek.

" I decide I was going to do the rest of my work from home" Mom said as she cut up some condiments. " Well okay, I'm going to shower." I said to her started making my way to the stairs and all she did was mumble okay.

I made my way upstairs into my room and through my bag down on floor and my phone ding.

" It's a message from Jamal. 

" So hear you and you and Erin got a chance to hang out. How did it go man?"

A goofy smile formed on my face and I texted  him back.

"  Yeah I did and It was good . I had fun."

I  place my phone on the charge and got ready for my shower.
