As soon as I am sure Tris is asleep I walk out of the apartment to the jeweler
I'm going to propose to tris tonight at the game on the Ferris wheel
I buy a ring with a black center a platinum band and engraved in blue "4+6 forever"
Once I get home I get in bed and I think tris noticed my absence 'cause as soon as I got in bed she sat up crying? why is tris crying?
Sometimes I still forget to look for the gentler parts in her for so long all I saw was strength
She's been so unremarkably strong through the tragedies she's had to encounter I can go on and on but she interrupts my thoughts
"Al"
Al was the initiate who tried to kill tris ended up killing himself with one daredevil jump into the chasm
I feel a pang of jealousy but...
"Tobias you would never harm me?"
