I was startled awake when my doorbell started ringing. I turn the television off and go to the door. I open it to see Faith and the boys. She looked in pain and was trying not to cry. "Faith?" I say confused. "come in guys. Boys go ahead to bed. I got you both mattresses." They ran up the stairs and I turn to Faith. "honey?" I asked but she just ran over and cried. "what happened?" "I didn't lock the door..." she says. He didn't. I calmed her down and I made her some tea. "I didn't lock the door. I was so exhausted after the last week and I woke up to someone moving the bed. I tried to move but he had my hands trapped above my head. Said he was embarrassed about lying to his friends about sleeping with his wife." "Did he rape you?" I asked. "yeah. I tried so hard not to react but my body did. I didn't want any of it." She said crying. "hey. Your body was reacting involuntarily." I said. "I will kill him Faith." Suddenly my doorbell started ringing again. I go answer it to see Chad. "what the hell are you doing here?" I say blocking the door. "is Faith here?" He said showing me the envelope. "I just saw these and we need to talk!" He yelled. "you will not go near her again." I said. "Faith!" He yells. "I know you're in there! Come out here and talk to me!" "Chad stop yelling." Faith says softly. "are my boys here?" He asks. "yes. You need to sign the papers." Faith said. I kept my place between the two of them.
