3x05: Frayed

Present

I wake after a night of restlessness, I shower and dress in a khaki colored tank with a zipper at the front, a tank cable-knitted cardigan, blue skinny jeans, taupe suede point-toe stacked heeled lace-up ankle booties and my usual jewelry and makeup. I sigh as I look at the picture of Derek and me on my desk, I can't believe he's dead, I can't do this on my own.

Two Days Ago

I dress in a white v-neck t-shirt, light blue denim shorts, brown knee-high boots, a white and black Aztec print cardigan and my usual jewelry and makeup. Yesterday I missed my period, I figure it's just stress but Arabella insisted on going and getting a pregnancy test. I'm honestly scared, I'm sixteen, I can't have a kid, maybe if I was a little older, but if I am I guess I can try to be a good mom.

I decide to go to Rori's, needing to talk to her, needing a friend right now.

"Hey, what's up?" Rori asks as she opens her front door.

"We need to talk," I say

"Ok, let's go to my room"

Once in her room, I feel safer.

"First how is your dad?" I ask

"Not good, they say it's cancer, my mom and I tried to convince him to ask for the bite but, he won't"

"I am so sorry," I say, my problem seeming so unimportant now. Rori's mom is a werewolf but her dad is human.

"What did you want to talk about?"

"It's not important"

She gives me a look "You sounded upset, now talk"

"I could be pregnant, yeah so there's that," I say

"Oh"

"Wait, you really think you could be?"

"Arabella seems to think so, I didn't have my period yesterday so who knows"

"Have you done a test?"

"Not yet, but Arabella went to buy one"

Just then my phone buzzes with a text from Arabella telling me to get home.

"I have to go but I'll call you later"

"Ok, bye" I hug Rori and leave.

I enter my room to find Arabella and mom waiting for me.
