After getting help for Lydia we rush to the loft, Scott thinking because Derek befriended and saved Jennifer that she might go to him for help. I rub my still healing wrists as we walk into the loft. I hear footsteps and quickly put my hands behind my back. Derek approaches us from the other room.
"What's wrong?" He asks
"We thought Miss. Blake got to you before we could" Scott says
"Your English teacher? Why would she come here?"
"She's the Darch and we thought she'd come here because you befriended her and she has nowhere else to run," I say
"She took Stiles' dad, she'll try to convince you she didn't, she also tried to kill Lydia and-" I elbow Scott in the side and give him a 'shut up' look.
"What do you need me to do?" Derek asks
"Play dumb, we have a plan," Stiles says, Derek nods and the rest of us go hide.
"Derek? Derek, where are you?" Comes Jennifer's obnoxious voice.
"Right here," Derek replies
"Thank God. Something happened at the recital. At the school. Okay, I need to tell you before you hear it, before you hear any of it from them."
"From who?"
"Scott, Stiles, Darcy. They're gonna tell you things. Things you can't believe. You have to trust me, okay? You trust me."
"What is it?"
"Promise you'll listen to me." Jennifer practically begs
"I promise," Derek says
"They're already here, aren't they?"
Scott, Stiles and I step out from behind the broken brick wall, glaring at Jennifer.
"So... they told you it was me? That I'm the one taking people?" Jennifer asks
"We told him you're the one killing people," Scott says
"Oh, that's right. Committing human sacrifices? What, cutting their throats? Yeah, I probably do it on my lunch hour. That way, I can get back to teaching high school English the rest of the day. That makes perfect sense."
Stiles steps forward.
"Where's my dad?" Stiles asks her.
"How should I know?" Jennifer then turns to Derek "Derek, tell me you don't believe this."
Derek glances at each of us in turn then back at Jennifer.
"Do you know what happened to Stiles's father?" Derek asks
"No."
"Ask her why she almost killed Lydia and Dani," Scott says, Derek glances at me, I rub my now scarred wrists, I shake my head giving him a signal not to act out.
"Lydia Martin? Dani? I don't know anything about that." Jennifer says
I shake my head "We all know that's not true" I snap
