Chapter 6

Elijah's POV
I walked towards the men while Ariel went to the ladies. Once I got to them they looked at me.
"Well Elijah I think that I can speak for all of us when I say this. Damn you sing. We also want to apologise for not trusting you," Damon says.
"It's alright men. I understand completely. Thank you for the complement," I say.
They grin then looked at each other.
"Did any one else know that Ariel has an amazing voice?" Jeremy asked looking at his eldest sister.
We all looked at Ariel as she laughed and talked with her friends and sister.
"No but I can say that I want to do a duet with her one day," Tyler says. "Even though I suck at singing."
We all laugh at Tyler for saying that.
"Thank you all for coming out tonight. We have a special song going to Elena Gilbert from Klaus," A young girl says on stage.
"Boys split up, watch for anything out of ordinary," I say.
I walk away when I realized that Alaric wasn't over there. I looked around and noticed Bonnie, Elena, and Ariel were missing as well.
"Damn it," I growl.
"Elijah have you seen the girls?" Stefan asks me with Damon not far behind him.
"No but Alaric wasn't with us when we were talking. Now the girls are gone," I say.
"Why wasn't Alaric there?" Damon asks.
"I don't kn-oh bloody hell. I do know why he wasn't there. That's not Alaric in his body it's Niklaus," I say then vamp speed away.
I got to the hallways and listened.
"I just had to get away from that dance. The 60's not my decade. I much prefer to 20's. The girls, the style, the jazz," Alaric said.
"Alaric are you on vervain?" I hear Elena ask him.
"Now why would you ask me something like that, Elena?" Alaric questions her.
"He's being compelled," Ariel says.
"Guess again," Alaric taunts.
"Klaus," Ariel whispers.
"I knew it," I say to myself.
"Oh don't worry Elena your not on my hit list tonight, neither are you Ariel. You will never be on my hit list. But you are, Bonnie," Alaric says then I hear glass shatter.
"ARIEL!!!!!" I scream.
I run at full speed and found Bonnie in the cafeteria fighting Alaric/Niklaus. I see Ariel in there with them.
"ARIEL!!! BONNIE!!!" I scream.
They look at me and smile. Niklaus runs up to Ariel and stabs her in the stomach.
"Sorry brother," He says looking at me.
"ARIEL NOOO!!!!!" I scream.
I pound on the glass doors
Bonnie must have spelled them shut since they wouldn't budge even with my extra strength. Bonnie was by Ariel's side. Bonnie looked up at me sadly and shook her head. My world broke apart. Ariel was dead. Niklaus killed her. Niklaus looked at me and saw the depression on my face. I looked at angrily. Tears streamed down my face. I looked at Bonnie and saw her holding her hand out to Niklaus. I was going to smirk when my eyes fell onto Ariel's body. I instantly hit the door as hard as possible and it shattered. I looked at Bonnie and she fell to the floor. I was instantly by her side biting my wrist. I held my wrist to her mouth but it didn't work. Elena, Damon, and Stefan came in and saw both of them.
When Elena saw her older sister on the ground she ran to her.
"NOOO!!!!!! ARIEL!!!!!" she screams.
I just sit there not knowing what to do. I looked at Ariel and crawled over to her. Elena traded spots with me. I picked up her head and gently placed it in my lap. My dead frozen heart broke and shattered. Damon looked at me sadly.
"She was my best friend," He says simply looking at Ariel's body.
I saw a tear fall from his eye. He wiped it away fiercely. Stefan didn't know where to look...his girlfriend, Bonnie, or Ariel and I. Elena was still staring at Ariel but was holding Bonnie. I picked up her body and walked towards the door.
"Elijah where are you going?!?!?" Elena cried and shouted.
"I'm going home," I say simply as I get to the door.
"Not with my sister," She says.
"Elena do you not understand how the prophecy works. I am broken now I want to see her face for as long as possible before we bury her," I pause and look at Stefan. "She was my everything Stefan I think you can understand that."
"I do Elijah we'll call you," Stefan says with tears rolling down his cheeks.
"Thank you Stefan," I say and walk away.
I get to my car and place her in the backseat carefully. Tears fall silently down my face as I drive home. Once I get home I pick Ariel's body up gently and walk inside. I quickly but carefully walk to my room. I place her on the bed and stare at her. She still looked gorgeous and perfect. People say that everyone looks peaceful when their dead but Ariel looked broken and fragile. I instantly get angry.
'Niklaus this is all your fault. I will kill you even if it's the last thing I do, you are dead to my little brother. You killed the girl I loved with all my immortal life. I know am broke and without Ariel I'm gonna die. I hope you get what's coming for you baby brother because I swear to God I'm gonna kill you,' I think before I leave the room.
I reach the living room before I start to brake things and destroy things. Half the house was destroyed when I heard something. Someone breathing. I sped to my room to find Ariel sitting up in my bed.
"Ariel," I say.
