You shove and pull on the door, trying to get it open, but the large wooden doors only rattle and creak. Sighing, you give up and walk around the room. The walls are simple oak wood and the ceiling is deep red with strange designs on them. The floor is soft, black carpet that you can feel through your thin shoes. You continue to look, only seeing a dresser with strange clothes and bedsheets in them and a door. Curiously, you walk towards it and open it up. Long, elegant dresses hang on black metal hangers. You examine them a bit out of curiosity and notice a large mirror in the closet. You pick it up gently and set it down. Your whole body is visible in it and you suddenly get a bright idea out of your own boredom. You take one of the dresses off of the hooks and try it on.
You try on dress after dress, some are sparkly, some are plain, some have lots of color and some have one. Then you reach into the deepest depth of the closet and pull out the outfit of your dreams. Its [insert outfit of dreams description here OwO].
Eagerly, you slip it on and look at yourself in the mirror."Stunning, beautiful!" you say to yourself in an old English accent. You laugh at how silly you're acting right now (remember, you're pretty bored and trying to entertain yourself) and put everything back were it was. All, except for the outfit you put on. That is yours. Still bored out of your mind, you walk over to the large window in the room and looked at the ground. The deadish looking grass swayed softly in the wind and small birds flew around in the air. Smiling, you go to walk back to the room, but you see a small white bird flying towards the window. First, you think that it'll see it and avert hitting it, but then you realize...
Birds can't see glass.
"Oh no, nonono!" you yell and try to make yourself visible behind the glass so the bird will fly away. You wave your arms and spin around, but nothing works. The young bird hits the window with a thump and falls to the ground.
"No!" you cry. Something inside you hurts for the small creature. You feel helpless and guilty for the little birds death, but you then see the same small bird fly up and to the sky.
Shocked, you look down to make sure that the little bird that flew away was the same, and you see...
Toffee?
You press your face against the glass a bit, straining your eyes to look down. You see Toffee standing in the grass, watching the birds fly in the sky and into the mountains surrounding it. You can't help but smile at this. The monster that was supposed to be heartless and cruel was standing in the grass...watching little birds fly around. You watch him for a while longer and he finally walks inside. You then stray your attention away from the window and to the sheets in the dresser.
Since the sheet you was laying on last night was in tatters, you change it and throw the ripped one to the side. With literally nothing else to do, you begin to do what normal people do when they're bored.
Talk to themselves.
~~~~~ 2 hours later~~~~~
You're curled up in a ball on the bed. Talking to yourself was a bad idea. You became extremely upset because of everything that had happened over the past two days and you were almost so zoned out you didn't hear the knock at the door.
"Huh- wha? Come in?" you say loudly.
Toffee opens the doors and walks into the room.
"Would you like to join me for lunch, Princess?" he asks kindly.
"Er, uh...sure. Nothing better to do...heheh.."
You uncurl yourself and then stepped off of the bed and stretched. Toffee looked at you, examining the clothing you have on.
"Went through the closet did we?" he smirked and looked back at your face.
"Yes, actually...why is there clothes in here anyways?"
"This was one Ludo's sister's room, apparently she was a fashion freak. I didn't know I put you in here until he told me, but I don't think he'll mind. You look nice, you know." he says and begins to walk out. You quickly trail behind him, your stomach growling in anticipation of what lunch you might have today.
