I can still remember when I met Quinn, she was one and I was two. I can strangely remember it mostly because that moment changed my life. Preslea was with Aunt Bri and Quinn was playing on the floor. Her curly blonde hair was in little pigtails and she was contently snuggling a stuffed bear. That's all I remember, I wish I remembered more though.

After dinner Quinn and I snuck onto the roof of her house. She had some leftover cake balls from the night before. We ate them and looked at the sky happily. What if I had the courage to say I loved her?The moment would be better, but I enjoyed this moment now.

"So, you leave for Mystal next week.." I said quietly.

She nodded. "Yep, I can't wait !Did you get your letter and did Aunt Bri say you could go?" She said in her sweet voice.

"Yes, she said I could go. I'm looking forward to it." I said.

"You don't have to sound like a profession. It's just me!" She laughed and rolled over to see me.

I got tingles in my fingers and toes. Was this what it felt like? A crush? I looked up at the stars.

"Have you found your magic yet?" I asked and cleared my throat nervously.

"Yep, I guess.." She said pointing at the constellations.

"Is that Ursa Major?" I said pointing to a group of stars.

She nodded. "My favorite is Libra, after my zodicac." She said softly smiling.

Her pink lips were so intoxicating, I wanted to kiss them and just tell her everything.

GET IT TOGETHER SHAWN! STOP FREAKING OUT! BE NORMAL! I thought to myself. I just nervously laughed and rubbed the back of my neck.

"You always do that when you're nervous..'" She said, pointing to a star.

                               "Do what?" I asked.

"You always laugh nervously and rub the back of your neck." She looked up at me and sat up.

Music was softly playing from the house. She softly smiled and perked up.

"I love this song! Dance with me!" She took my hand and showed me where to put mine.

"I take your hand and you put your hand on my waist. I put the other hand on your shoulder and you sway from side to side." She smiled and looked up at me. She was small, so she often had to look up to speak to people. The song was "Two is better than One." by Boys Like Girls. She softly sang along and her perfume wafted through the air as the breeze blew. I have to say, the night was quite magical.
