One Week Later
I arrived in my dorm with my suitcase and a box full of my knicknacks. I laid my sheets and comforter on the bed. The bare matteress was just there, the room was drab and sad. I walked out and knocked on Quinn's door. She opened it and smiled. "Hey Shawn!" She rubbed her violet eyes and looked back up at me.
"Hey, do you want to go get some lunch or something?" I asked
"Sure, but I want to help you set up your dorm!" She smiled and tokk my hand. She led me to my dorm and opened the door.
"How do you lock your doors?" I asked.
"Well...Most people don't.." She giggled.
She looked in my box and smiled. "Ohh! Pictures!" She lifted out a picture frame that had a picture of us with Aunt Bri and her parents.
"I remember this! This was Easter last year.." I said slowly remembering Easter.
She lifted out pictures and other little knicknacks. "Really?" She lifted out an old stuffed bear of mine.
"Yes really! I-I love it.." I took it from her and set it on the bed.
"My mom made that for you..Why do you still have it?" She giggled.
"I dunno..I just still have it.." I muttered.
"What did you call it? Boobear? Blue?"
"Bluebear.." I smiled weakly.
After unpacking, we walked to the lunch room. We got some trays and sat down.
"Have you seen anybody you know?" I asked, taking a bite of steak.
"Just Layla.." She muttered. I knew she wanted to someone, but who?
Suddenly, Kayden and Sophia Simmington walked in. It was like the whole school stpped to look at them. Sophia strutted in and waved at Quinn. Kayden stopped by the table we were sitting at.
"Hey Quinn," He smirked, "and..Whatever" He looked at me.
"Hey Kayden.." Quinn smiled and batted her eyes. Seriously? This is the guy she liked?
"Hey Quinn do you want t go out tommorow, forget whatever his name is.." He smiled and moved closer to Quinn.
Kayden and I use to be friends, then he drifted off and partied. He just left my life..he wasn't my friend anymore.
"Uh..I'd love to, but I can't.." She said. "I'm sorry.."
"Oh..you're going to stay with Whatever his name is? You know I'm way better?" He rolled his eyes.
"We all know you just want to get in her pants, Kayden." I snarled at him.
'How do you know that?" He grabbed my shirt collar and lifted me up. He glared into my eyes and punched me. I tackled him and punched him back. Quinn gasped.
"Boys! Stop it!" She yelled and tried to pull me off.
Kayden punched me back, then a teacher pulled Kayden off of me. I laid on the floor with a bloody nose.
"Shawn? Shawn, are you okay?"
Perfect..I'm bleeding and I got in a fight. Fun.
