It had been a week since I had gotten into the fight with Kayden. When his eyes met mine, I felt rage everywhere. He was now the person I hated with passion, my old friend Kayden, was now the person I wanted to jump off a cliff. How could he treat Quinn like that? Quinn was the reason I wasn't pushing him off mountains.
Word had gotten around Quinn had said yes to a date. And I think you know my reaction. Heartbroken. I wanted Quinn so badly, she had my heart from day one. I always wondered why she wasn't mine. It ircked me. Was it because he was the captain of the sports club? Was it because he was the ladies man? I'll never know..
It was the night Quinn was suppose to go out with him. I locked myself in the commons room with bacon and some popcorn. I thought I was alone until Layla, Quinn's cousin, teleported in.
"Shawn Marcs, I can't see you like this..She doesn't belong with Simmington.." She sighed and flopped down net to me on the couch.
"It's sickening, I know.." I took a big bite of bacon.
"Woah Mr. Heart attack, be careful with the bacon. I don't want you dying.." She laughed softly.
"I kinda wish I was dead.." I muttered.
"SHAWN! Don't talk like that!" She hit me.
"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" I exclaimed, rubbing my arm.
"Because..I don't want you thinking like that!" She yelled and stole my popcorn.
"Ugh! I can see why you and Quinn are cousins!" I stuck my tongue out. Quinn came running in with her mascara running down her face.
'Quinn! Are you okay!?" I asked, worried.
"NO! HE STOOD ME UP FOR YOU!" She exclaimed pointing to Layla.
"ME!?" Layla said standing up.
"YES YOU! He texted me saying that he couldn't be with me because he wanted you!" Quinn sobbed.
"He just wanted to get in your pants.." I muttered. I was right wasn't I?
Layla shot me a look and sighed. "Quinzy..It will be okay.." She said softly.
Quinn teleported out, crying. She's not tied up by him anymore..Shawn's time to shine..
