Chapter 37

Lizzie runs into the crowd, sobbing like she had never before. Then, she heard Joel's voice. Coming from a microphone. On a stage.

L= What? (Says to self) (looks at stage)

Joel is speaking to everyone, and talking about his birthday and his girlfriend, Lizzie. He suddenly sees her in the distance.

J= Omg Lizzie, you came! (Hands microphone to DJ and runs down to her as everyone continues dancing and chatting)

J= You came! I was going to go back and apologize - why are you crying?

L= How? You and Mia went in the headmasters and I heard zips and giggling and -

J= Me and Mia, you thought?!

L= I saw you two going in!

J= Lizzie that wasn't me! It must've been her new boyfriend Mich. He has the same hairstyle as me, but mine looks better, of course (giggles)

L= Omg I am so relieved! (Kisses Joel) but how can I trust you

J= Me and Mia were talking and then I went up to do a speech and I saw her and Mich talking and -

L= I was joking! I saw you on stage! Jeez don't take things so seriously! (Laughs)

J= Heyy you're happyyy

L= (giggles) guess so!

J= What ya wanna do, my party kinda sucks.

L= Hmmmm, park? Us time

J= Sounds great, let's go.

Suddenly, a loud scream came from the headmasters office. The whole school stopped, and stared down the corridor. Their eyes gazed on the door of the headmasters....

The door opened and out came an angry headmaster.

Hm's POV

Hm= WHAT IS GOING ON HERE! A MASSIVE PARTY AND TWO STUDENTS HAVING S*X IN MY OFFICE! SCRAM! ALL OF YOU!

Dumb student= How did you get in?

Hm= THE BACK DOOR, BUT WHY WOULD YOU CARE, SCRAM! AND NO CAKE COMPETITION! NO REWARDS! NO NOTHING! LEAVE ALL OF YOU! I'LL DEAL WITH THIS TOMORROW!

The headmaster turns to see Mia and Mich trying to climb out the window, with towels around them.

Hm= You two aren't going anywhere. (Locks window) I am appalled by this behavior. I am sending an email home to both of your parents. I will call them to come and get you both. I have never been more shocked. You can stay in here for the meantime. (Locks door behind him)

Lizzie's POV

After the angry headmaster had shouted at everyone, Joel and Lizzie ran out and made their way to the park. Joel put his arm around Lizzie, and she leant her head against his shoulder.

L= I love you, Joel.

J= I love you, Lizzie. (Smiles)

They arrive at the park and Lizzie gets on a swing.

L= Whoever swings the highest gets to give the other one a dare!

J= Deal!

They start swinging. They feel peaceful, just them together, on this beautiful night. The sky was coal-black and filled with many shining stars.

J= Look, a shooting star! Make a wish.

They both close their eyes as the wind carries them as they swing. Lizzie wishes for this relaxing moment to last forever, and Joel wishes the same thing. Then, Lizzie breaks the moment after realising she was swinging higher.

L= I WON I WON WOOO

J= Dangit (laughs) (jumps off of swing)

L= (waits for the swing to stop and steps off)

L= Okayyy I dare you to -

J= (kisses Lizzie)

Lizzie doesn't finish her dare and stays in the kiss. It was the perfect kiss, on a perfect end to the night. The stars twinkled above them, beaming with love. The night was all about them as they walked home, hand in hand...

Yammy's POV

Yammy was an emotional wreck. Her boyfriend loving her one day, then ignoring her the next. She got with Kyle the night of 'Lizzie's death' to calm herself from the shock and sorrow. They shared a bed and couldn't resist. A lot happened that night, and Yammy had been feeling sick afterwards. She brought a pregnancy test to Joel's party, which she attended happily after hearing about Lizzie being alive. She took the test in the bathrooms, and the results were positive... She exited the bathrooms and called out to Lizzie, but Lizzie kept running. After the party, Yammy went home and texted Lizzie, feeling anxious.

Y= Lizzie meet me at the secret garden we used to love, go alone. I have to tell you something...
