"Arrgghhhhhh." Lotanna cried in frustration "I'm gonna be ugly forever." she continued, looking into her mirror. "Why does nothing fit me?" she asked staring at the lanky figure standing in the mirror. "You're so lucky. Nothing doesn't look awesome on you." she said turning to the girl sitting on her bed.

She looked at her for a while. Ignoring the annoyed look her friend wore on her face, she turned back to the mirror and in a rotary motion scanning all sides of the turquoise blue velvet dress she had recently purchased on Fashionnova on her black Chanel pumps.

She searched her friends face again for a reply and when she found none, she finally gave in and asked "Izzy really?. You're just going to sit there and stay silent?". "What do you want me to say?" Isabella replied angrily "This is the thirteenth outfit you've put on." she said with a look of total disbelief.

"Apparently the first makes you look fat, the second doesn't make your colour pop, the third is a contrast to your make up, the fourth, well, you're not "feeling it" today, the fifth is not it. Need I continue?" she asked "Abeg just put something on and let's get going." she added faking a frown.

Isabella's fake frown wore of and she muttered "Here comes the fourteenth."under her breath. "Anyways, who's he?" Isabella asked with a grin and Lotanna began to laugh hysterically and asked "Abeg abeg abeg, since when do I care about the other specie?". She laughed some more. "You'll need to open up someday uno?" Izzy said. Lotanna didn't reply. "Teeeee." she cried "have you seen the way Harry looks at you?" She said clutching her phone tight. "Any girl could die for that look. Guy, I could die for that look." she added.

Lotanna was looking at Izzy as if her reply was written on her face. She found none then started to her closest. In the closet whose four walls are coated with red, green, black and silver colours with matching colours of drawers and hanger spaces with a silver plated mirror having white bulbs plunged into them and a small bench at one of the corners, she dug out a black denim jean from the copious amount she had and removed a bright red frill top from a hanger.

Scanning the -spacious but chocked with clothes- closet carefully, she tiredly looked up at the ceiling, the silver chandelier proudly illuminated the room with its numerous little white bulbs, then dropped her head down as she walked towards the right side of the closet and picked a bandana from her scarfs collection.

She walked out of the closet and tossed her clothes on her bed and walked to the mirror which held her figure a while ago. She was wearing a matching underwear with her bosom nicely fit in her b-cup size bra. Standing elegantly, the bright rays of sunlight seeped in through the window making her already brown skin gleam even more beautifully than it already was.

Lotanna is a very pretty seventeen year old who's six feet one inch tall and thin but curvy. Her resplendent hazel eyes captured the attention of whoever looked in them. Her long nose and full lips were a plus to her stunning oval shaped face. Her teeth could be used for a toothpaste commercial because of its glisten whenever it's revealed and it's elaborate arrangement.

She averted her gaze to her wall clock which clearly spelt out 2:16 pm. She quickly rushed over to the bed and picked up her jean which she began putting on. Then she finally said "I don't think so." Izzy looked at her in confusion then Lotanna quickly added "I don't understand how people think there are different ways to look at another person. For me, I see all males the same way. So, I don't think I've noticed the way Harry looks at me." Izzy kept silent.

She quickly threw on the top and tied the bandana under her full, long and curly black hair. She smiled at the still silent Izzy and walked to her vanity and touched up her make up. "I still wonder why you need so many mirrors." Izzy said as Lotanna walked into her closet. She let out a sigh and picked up her phone. Lotanna came out with a black Chanel bag and a black pump.

"I really don't know Izzy to be honest. But they all seem to have their own special purpose" she laughed. She gestured to Izzy and they proceeded to leave.

Izzy hitched the bag strap on her shoulder further, adjusting it and Lotanna was about to run back to her closet to change her top when Isabella pulled her by the hair and pushed her outside the door, closing it behind them. "I know you too well
" she said "Guy you're too rough abeg." Lotanna said as they walked down the stairs while she repaired her hair.

They got to the sitting room and Lotanna's parents were sitting together on the couch watching Pretty Woman "Bye guys." Lotanna shouted "Bye Mr and Mrs Anderson" Izzy added. "Love you Izzy" said her mum "And curfew's by 11 Tee" her dad added. The uber honked outside. "Seems your ride's here Tee." her mum said "Izzy do you have to go with her?" she added. "Yes, sadly" Izzy replied laughing. Lotanna gasped "You wound me guys." she said sardonically making a face. They all laughed and her dad said "We love you both." they laughed once more. "We love you too." Lotanna and Izzy said walking out the door and shutting it.

They made their way to the uber and exchanged a brief greeting with the driver. The driver plunged the key in the ignition, the engine started and they were off.

"Izzy?" Lotanna called
"Yes Tee?"
"I'm hungry"
"Are you kidding?" Izzy asked almost pissed.
"No"
"We're going to a restaurant for chrissakes"
"So?"
"So, we're gonna eat when we get there" she said angrily and hissed.
"Ohhhh, that's right" Lotanna said enjoying the anger she had built in Isabella . The driver giggled, so did Lotanna.

The rest of the ride to the Red Tulip Restaurant was a silent one with Lotanna listening to The Weeknd and 'keeping tabs on her social life' as she always referred to it, and Isabella closing her eyes and listening to The 1st: Willow Smith's latest album on iTunes.
