Lotanna was almost done with her food when she saw Tim walk by again and called his attention. "Hi." she started. "So my friend Izzy likes you but she's too shy to say anything. Do you mind texting her or something?" she said. He laughed and said "I'd love to. She's pretty cool.". "Yeah yeah." she said writing down Isabella's number on a serviette. He put it in his pocket, thanked him and asked for her bill.

As she was waiting for her bill, a guy walked in and sat on the chair Isabella had recently occupied. Disgusted with the act, she managed to hide her anger by staring into her phone. Noticing he wasn't getting any attention,  he decided to speak up " Hey sexy thang." he said as Tim arrived at the table and handed her the bill. She placed the money in the pad and picked up her bag to leave. She thanked Tim, hissed and walked out as if no one was at the table. "Nna baby, calm down naa. I just want us to be friends." he called after her.

She checked her wrist watch and the time was 4:46 pm and she decided to go back home. She got a cab and decided to read a novel on the way. Kaleidoscope by Danielle Steel was the book her book club was reading for the next two weeks and she was already in love with the characters. Hilary was her best because of how strong a woman she was portrayed.

She had read three chapters as they arrived at her house.She handed the driver two thousand naira and walked to into the house. She got in the house, looked around and sighed the proceded to her room.

In the room, she angrily shut the door and tossed her bag on the bed. The feeling of depression overwhelmed her. She went to her bathroom and wiped of her makeup.

She searched around her cupboard for something and she brought out a pill bottle of Xanax and took with her to her closet.

She took off her clothes and threw on an XXL shirt. On her way to her bed, she got a bottle of water from her fridge, she took the pill and decided to sleep.
