The electronic door opened wide for them as they neared it. They gracefully walked in and got a table. The red and silver pristine walls gleamed in the brightly lit room with several chandeliers and diverse ornaments extensively beautifying the largely spaced dining room.

A tall waiter with green beady eyes and an afro holding two menus approached their table. Lotanna wondered why he was allowed to keep an afro but waved off the thought. They greeted and he handed them the menus-one in each hand-wearing a smile showing his pink gum and white teeth. They both collected it, returning a smile. There was a big red tulip flower on the cover of the menu with the name of the restaurant written diagonally on it and the word "Menu" boldly spelt out on the top of the menu.

After a long minute of skimming through the pages, Lotanna finally said "I'll have the Dragon carrot risotto and chicken wings to go. Thanks." returning a warm smile. "Izz?" she called, bringing her back to reality. "Sorry." she said "Too many good choices." she added. They both laugh and Lotanna just looked at them before averting her eyes back to her phone.

"I'll have the foiegrass. Thank you emm.." she said squinting to read the name on the name tag. "Tim." he said. "Thank you Tim." she said. They laughed once more and she handed him the menu.

He disappeared into a door at the far corner of the restaurant and Isabella looked enthusiastically at Lotanna.

"Isn't he HOTTT?" she said almost too loudly, people sitting at nearby tables turned to look at her. A little embarassed, she repeated in a low tone with Lotanna staring quizzically. "Yeah." she finally said smiling wryly.

"Tee what is your problem?" Isabella said in frustration. "What?" Lotanna said sipping from the cup of water before her.

"Nothing." Isabella said in a defeated tone and rolled her eyes. "Okay." Lotanna said transferring her attention back to her phone. Isabella spotted Tim with trays and their orders on them. She smiled but didn't bother saying anything to Lotanna.

He put the food on their table and placed the takeout bag containing the chicken wings and a can of smirnoff by Lotanna's side. He then smiled and left them.

Lotanna could see the smile Isabella was wearing while she was eating her food. She then put her phone on the table and looked keenly at Izzy and said " He's really is cute." faking interest.

Isabella's face lit up even brighter. "I know RIGHTTTT" she said as she let a squeak. This time, ignoring the people looking at her.
"You should get married to, what's his name sef?" Lotanna started. "Tim" Izzy replied quickly. "Yeah, Tim. You guys should elope or something together" she continued. "Get his number nau." she encouraged. "Ha!" Izzy said. "What?" Lotanna said putting a spoon full of food in her mouth. "You're just telling me that now?" Isabella said waiting for her to munch down what she had in her mouth.

"Eh, because you don't have your own brain na. Why didn't you think of it yourself?" Lotanna said. "Even though. You know I'm shy, I can't do that." Isabella said in a sad tone.

"Then stop liking guys so much, geez. " Lotanna said. She noticed Izzy's eyes drop in disappointment.

"Izz?" she started. "I love you okay, I don't know what's been up with me these past weeks" she added. "I'm sorry okay?" she concluded.

"Why didn't you tell me anything then?" Isabella said with a look of concern. Dropping her spoon loudly, Lotanna said "Isabella! Have you met you?"

"Woah! She called my name." Izzy said looking surprised. "What's wrong with me?" she added?

"You don't care. That's just it. You don't care, so why bother?" Lotanna said picking up her spoon. "I'm sorry I don't know how to show what I feel." Isabella said ruefully.

"Yeah yeah." Lotanna said. "I told Kara about it tho, so I guess she'll help me out of it." she added. "I hope so too." Isabella said and she began to play with her food.

"Isabella." Lotanna said smiling. "Yes Lotanna?" Izzy replied. "Your boyfriend just walked past." she said smiling hard. Izzy smiled too "My boyfriend. That'll be nice." Izzy said, still Lotanna laughed at her again and sipped in some white wine.

"Do you ever drink anything?" Isabella asked looking at her in amusement. "Leave me joor." Lotanna said trying to hold down a smile. "I mean, you never actually gulp anything down. You're one weird-" she was interrupted by Selena Gomez's voice that came from her phone. She placed her spoon carefully on her plate and picked up her purse to answer her phone. Lotanna just continued eating her food.

"Hey mum. I'm with Lotanna. I told you remember?. Yeah. No. No. We're having lunch. Red tulip restaurant. Yes. Do I have to?. Please?. Fine. Already? Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Bye.".

"That was my mum. My dad just got back from China." Isabella explained to Lotanna. "She's making us all go out and the driver's on his way." she added. "She said to tell you hi and sorry for interrupting." she concluded. " It's okay." Lotanna said. "I'm sorry though." Izzy said. " My last statement still stands." Lotanna said. "Say hi to your dad for me will ya?" she added. " Sure will." Izzy assured her.

Her phone rang again and she got up to leave. She gave Lotanna a quick hug and ran out the door.
