Chapter 2: sallys a little

From that day on Thomas and Angelica became best friends along with Sally, and Maria.
The 4 kids were inseparable they had sleepovers together, birthday parties, school projects.
The kids were now 12 and in the seventh grade.

Lately Sally had been ditching Angelica, Maria and Thomas to go hang with the "popular girls."
Martha Randolph and Theodosia Prevost.
These girls had the best clothes, best shoes, best hair. All the girls wanted to be their friends and all the boys wanted to go out with them because of their perfect bodies.

Sally was starting to become just like them. She started wearing purses and wearing her hair down instead of its usual bun. Sally stopped wearing her overalls and started wearing dresses that revealed her newfound curves.
It wasn't like Angelica was mad she hated Martha and Theodosia all they did was laugh at girls who didn't have as much money than them.

Most likely the target was Maria and Angelica but Angelica care.
At lunch Thomas was with the video gaming club so Maria and Angelica looked forward to sitting with Sally and telling her what happened during math class when the math teacher tripped over the chair.
But when the 2 girls went to lunch they saw Sally laughing and giggling with Martha and Theodosia.

So Angelica being the bold person she was went to the "popular girls." Table.
"Hey Sally are you going to sit with us?" Angelica asked.
Sally looked at Angelica and laughed and then turned back to Theodosia and Martha.
"Uh Sally hello..." Angelica said when Martha whipped her head back her blonde hair swinging.
"Don't you see she's busy go sit with your loser friend over there." Martha said and Angelica took a deep breathe.

She wasn't in the mood to fight with Martha because she didn't want to get suspended for grabbing a bitch by her extensions and stomping on her perfect little face.
So Angelica just walked back to Maria and started to eat her Cheesy fries.
"So is Sally sitting with us?" Maria asked.
"Fuck Sally." Angelica muttered taking another fry.
"What happened?" Maria asked.
"She was being a fake little bitch and acted like she didn't know me. We've been best friends since we were in the womb and this is how she acts. Nuh-uh Angelica doesn't hang with fake little bitches." Angelica said and Maria laughed.
"Oh well you still have me." Maria said and Angelica smiled and gave her friend a hug.
"I know thanks for being the true friend." Angelica said and since she knew Sally would hear her. "Thanks for being my True friend unlike Sally!" Angelica yelled and Sally looked at Angelica and rolled her eyes.
Maria and Angelica laughed and finished eating lunch.

"I'm home!" Angelica yelled when she got home from walking with Maria.
She saw 10 year old Eliza watching The loud house eating some popcorn. While 8 year old Peggy was coloring in her my little pony notebook.
"Angelica!" Peggy said as she ran to Angelica and hugged her knees.
Angelica wished she was 8 again. Where it didn't matter if you were popular or not and Sally was her friend.
Whatever. Angelica thought. I don't stress over fake bitches.

"Where's mommy?" Angelica asked.
"In the backyard with dad." Peggy said.
Angelica went outside to the patio and the smell of charcoal filled her nose.
"Hi mommy hi dad." Angelica said and Catherine smiled at Angelica.
"Hi baby how was school?" She asked.
Angelica sighed sitting at the picnic table with her mom.
"I don't think Sally likes me anymore." Angelica said.
Catherine frowned.
"Why?" She asked.
"Well today at lunch she completely ignored me. I think she's trading Maria, Thomas and I in for the popular girls." Angelica said.
Catherine sighed. Well she's at that age.
"Well Angelica. Some friendships don't last forever." Catherine told her daughter.
Angelica sighed.
"I guess." She said.
"But cheer up don't forget that Thomas and Maria are coming over later for dinner." Catherine said.
Angelica smiled. At least she still had Thomas and Maria.

That night the Schuyler's (and Thomas and Maria) enjoyed a meal of Hotdogs and hamburgers, French fries and corn on the cob.
Now the 3 preteens sat in Angelica's room.
Angelica and Maria talking to Thomas about Sally and the rest of the popular kids.
"Hey Thomas do you like those types of girls?" Angelica asked looking at Thomas.
"No way." Thomas answered.
"Why not all the other boys do?" Maria asked.
"Because all the other boys like them for their bodies." Thomas said.
"Martha and Theodosia are rude, annoying people that only care about themselves and their parents money. They always look down on people and call people less than. And I'm sorry to say it but Sally is becoming a lot like them." Thomas said.
"I like girls for their personalities. Not their bodies." Thomas continued.
That's when Angelica called the 3 kids down because she had to take Maria and Thomas home.
When Angelica got home from dropping her friends off she got her pajamas on and laid in her bed.
She kept thinking about what Thomas said over and over again.
Then that's when she realized it she like Thomas!
