Dangerously in love

Chapter 1: how they met

"Angelica wake up." Catherine Angelica's mom said as she shook Angelica up.
"Mommy it's summer I can still sleep in remember?" Angelica asked.
Silly mommy. Why do parents always forget stuff? Angelica thought.
"No sweetie it's September 1st and it's your first day of kindergarten." Catherine said.
Suddenly Angelica shot up out of bed excited.

Today was a special day she was going to see her 2 best friends Sally Hemmings and Maria Reynolds.
And she was going to see her cool new teacher Mr.Washington.
Angelica took a shower and got her first day of school outfit on. A pink tshirt, with a pink t-shirt, with pink converse and a jean Jacket.
A lot of pink right? Well that's Angelica for ya.

Catherine put her daughters hair in a ponytail and Angelica skipped downstairs to breakfast.
Angelica's 3 year old sister Eliza was sitting at the table eating her pancakes.
Eliza was going to preschool and Catherine couldn't be more excited.
Finally they're both going to school.

When breakfast was done Catherine took pictures of her two daughters in the front yard and when she was finished walked Angelica to the bus stop. When Angelica got there she saw James Reynolds the Bully. James was 3 years older than Angelica and he thought he was better than everyone for no reason at all.

Angelica was talking to her friends Sally and Maria when James pushed her.
"Hey runt." He said and Angelica fell to the ground. Looking at her arm which had a huge scrape with blood pouring out of it.
Maria and Sally just watched afraid to say anything.
"L l leave me alone." Angelica said stuttering looking at her friends for backup.
"What did you say runt?" James asked immediately.
"She said leave her alone." A boy said and he pushed James to the ground.

James looked up at the boy. He had curly hair and was wearing a black power ranger shirt, and some jeans.
He was in kindergarten just like Angelica but he had the guts to stand up to James.
James ran away embarrassed that he had been pushed by a kindergartener when he was in 3rd grade.

"Thanks uh-"
"Thomas."
"Ok thanks thomas." Angelica said.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Angelica." Angelica answered.
The bus came and Angelica and Thomas went on the bus.
Sally and Maria sat next to each other while Thomas and Angelica sat next to each other (angelica taking the window spot of course).

"How'd you get the courage to stand up to James?"  asked.
"I don't know. I just don't think its cool for a boy to be hitting on a girl like that." Thomas said and Angelica smiled.
Thomas wasn't like most boys her age.
He didn't think Angelica had cooties and he treated her as his equal.
"Hey thomas do you wanna be my friend?" Angelica asked and Thomas nodded.
"Yeah sure." He said.

When they arrived at school Maria and sally started to laugh at Angelica.
"Angelica in thomas sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G." They sang jokingly.
Angelica laughed.
"Stawp guys we don't like each other." Angelica said.
"Ok...." Sally said sarcastically.
"You guys couldn't keep your eyes off of each other." Maria said and Angelica rolled her eyes.
"Yeah ok." She told her friends and they walked inside the school to their classroom.

"You totally like Angelica." Thomas's friend Aaron Burr said when they got into class. Angelica was in his class and he couldn't keep his eyes off of anybody.
"What are you talking about Angelica's my friend and we're just friends." Thomas said.
"Ok." Aaron said sarcastically.
For the rest of the day Thomas couldn't keep his eyes off of Angelica.
