(Aoyama X reader) Competitive love

P.E

~morning~
I woke up at 2:46 am which was normal for me to wake up. I started thinking of my best friend and how she would always talk about how other people think that soccer is for men. She would always make jokes and have the brightest smile ever. Then I started to think how would I be like if she were still around. I kept my face still but it hurt. I start to think about the rest of my team. I wonder if I would still turn out like this or be different.

~Flashback~
I was walking to the soccer field to see my best friend run to me at full speed. She tried to tackle me but I move to the side. She fell on her face and I started to crack up. "That's not funny (y/n). I could've died you know!"Joseline said. (A/n If you want to change your best friends name then you can change it). "Ha hahahhah"I fell to the ground and started to grab my stomach because of how much I was laughing. "Let's tackle her!!!" My team yelled. "Stop no don't do it ple- ugh!" before I could finish my team jump on me.
~Flashback end~
It was now 7:10 am and I was going to be late for school. I hurried and did my things and went running to school. The school was three miles away but I have ran that distance before in under 8 minutes so it won't be to bad. I was running block through block and halfway there I saw the dark haired boy on his bicycle. He looked like he was going at full speed. I ran passed him not caring if anyone was looking at me because all I wanted was to get to class in time. When I got to class I realized I wasn't sweating much I wasn't surprised but I just went to my seat. The dark haired boy walked into class and sat down. He looked at me weirdly probably because I wasn't sweating.

~Lunch~

I went to my locker and grabbed my soccer ball also my sandwich plus my cleats. I went to the soccer field only to find no one there. I put on my cleats and start running with the ball. I put on my head phones and started to listen to my favorite song. I practice my kicks the first was a knuckle ball, the ball went straight in so I decided to hit on the sides. I practice doing the knuckle ball with both my left and right leg. Then I begin to do curve balls it wasn't very difficult of course I missed some but it was ok. Then I did corner kicks and it went straight into the goal. After I just start to juggle the ball and I decided to to some tricks. Then someone came in and took the ball. It was Aoyama. He look at me and said "I mistook you at first you know. I thought you were all just all that like the other females but it turns out you're really good." "Um well you shouldn't really judge other people you know...it's rude." I said while look at him weirdly. I noticed that lunch was about to end and I had P.E next. I gave him the look which meant to pass the ball and he understood. He passes the ball to me and I pick it up. I dust off the ball and changed my shoes. Aoyama was waiting for me and he said "We have P.E together, want to walk to class." "Sure I guess"I replied.

We went our separate ways and I went to the females locker room. The females were dressing into there gym clothes and I went to my locker which it didn't have nobody which was good since nobody would look at me. I went into the gym and waited for the teacher to arrive. Everyone went into there group of friends and I saw the males soccer team looking at me. I didn't really like socializing so I never talked to anyone. I didn't find the need to make friends. The waved at me to so I can come over to them. I did and stayed quiet. They started talking about how the soccer team was going but I stood quiet. The gym teacher called us to her and she explained.

"Ok today we are going to play soccer for two days but you have to score one goal to win. ". Today the females are playing so everyone line up. She put us in our team and honestly the team I was in was decent. But they were scared because the people we were playing against is basically the girls official soccer team. The team captain looked at me really evilly. I didn't care much honestly and that when I saw the boys soccer team there and were all looking at our team.

"You can do it (y/n)!" They all scream I gave them a thumbs up. I saw Aoyama and he gave me a small smirk. I guess the girls captain noticed and she looked furious at me. The gym teacher blew the whistle. I was forward so I got the ball. The girls were after me but I decided to run faster so they wouldn't catch up. Then I was face off again with the captain. I tricked her and made her trip. "Oooooooohhhhhhhh!!" all the boys screamed. I ran past her and I was ready to kicked the ball. I kicked a curve ball and then someone pulled my shirt. I fell on my back but the ball went in the goal. Our team screamed with joy and the boys came running to me in worried especially Aoyama. I got up but my back hurts a lot. It hurt too much I almost fell but I caught myself. "(Y/n) are you ok? We saw who pulled your shirt." Said Zaizen. "Who?" I gave them a question looked. The looked behind me and saw the captain. I walked to her and said "Please next time don't play dirty to win but even if you did you still would've lost." I walked away to the girls locker room and the girl which I heard was name Kelly. (A/n If your name is Kelly you can change it) I got changed and went to my final class without a word.

~time skip~

It was after school so I decided to stay to see the team practice. Of course I didn't join the team so I couldn't go in. I went to my favorite spot and watched them. The girls team was running while the boys were stretching. I noticed how the dark haired boy wasn't there. I question myself but I felt someone patted my head. I turned around to see Aoyama. "Hey...can I sit with you"she said a bit shyly. "Yeah sure."I replied. He sat down next to me and it was silent. After a while I decided to speak up to not keep the atmosphere around us awkward. "How come you're not practicing with the guys?" I asked. "I wanted to talk to you about something." He said. "So then what is it?" I asked him waiting for a response until. "Why aren't you joining the soccer team? I mean you're really good and you have talent so then why?"he said with a bit of sadness. "Why do you care we barely know each other?" I said but I was confused. "I..I want to get to know you ok?"he said with a bit of pink on his cheeks. After I took time to think. "Ok I will."I said while I got up. "Really!?!?"he said with a bit of excitement. "Yea... because you said so." I said shyly. We walked together to the field with a bit of excitement because of a new friendship.
