(Aoyama X reader) Competitive love

A mans bestfriend

~(Y/n) POV~
  
   I was on the couch laying with Treasure on my lap. He was a an obedient kitten and well mannered. I was looking for a good show on Netflix but nothing good was going on. I got bored and went to go check what Aoyama was doing. The kitchen light was still on so I decided to help him clean. I put the kitten down and started walking to the kitchen. The kitten followed me and I walk in to see Aoyama still cleaning the plates. I see that there is a stack of wet plates waiting for it to be dried. I smiled and went to go help him. I was looking for the towels and I looked down to see Treasure bringing the towel over to me.

     He puts it down on the floor and sits there meowing at me. I smiled and grabbed the towel and started drying the plates one by one. Aoyama turns to me and I looked at him and smiled at him. I was having a good time with him even if we're not talking. I was drying the plates I looked at Aoyama and he was in tears.

    I immediately stopped and put the plates down. I turned of the water and I hugged him. That's when he broke. I never seen Aoyama this broken and I never seen him in tears. The only time I saw him broken was about his mom.

     "Hey...It's ok I'm here...Don't worry..." I said while rubbing his back. I take him by the hand and took him to his room. His room had a big window and it was cloudy day. I sit him down and wrapped him around a blanket.

    I left to the kitchen to grab food and water. I ran up stairs and saw him cuddled up with the kitten. I left the food and ran down stairs again to prepare hot chocolate. As it was being made I grabbed some marshmallows and cookies for him.

      I was worried about what was happening. It happened so fast but luckily I had an idea. The hot chocolate was done and I took everything upstairs. I see him sitting in the table looking out the window with a box of tissues. I set down the hot chocolate and sat on the other side.

      I waited for a few minutes for him to calm down and I look at him. "Hey...Do you want to talk about it." I asked him in a soft voice and he just stood quiet. "I don't know why I was crying to be honest..." he talked in a low voice and looked out the window. "When I look at you I feel like I don't deserve you. I feel like I don't deserve such an angel. I feel so happy when you're with me. I feel like I'm not the only one. I don't even what I did to deserve you." He looked at he as he started to tear up again. I lean forward to him and wiped his tears away.

     "Everyone in this world deserves a somebody. Never think that you don't. Even if they are a bad person there will always be someone for you. I may not be it. I may just be temporary for you but it's ok. I happy you're by my side." I told him and meant every word I said. I smiled at him and hugged him as he hugged me back. We got up from our seats and just hugged for a while.

     After that we had a long talk about life with a nice view of the cloudy sky. We also did a mini photo shoot because why not. Unfortunately time went so fast that I had to go. We both decided that He was going to keep Treasure. I started walking home with a smile on my face.

~Aoyama's POV~

     I see her walking away from my house. I smiled at the sight of her. I had the kitten in my arms rubbing his head. I looked at the night sky and it was clear. I can see all the stars and the bright moon. It was very beautiful to look at. Then I started to imagine how would it be like to star gaze with (Y/n) and Treasure.

     I sat down near the window and finished eating the cookies. My phone rang and I saw the notification appear.

(Y/n)💠

(Y/n): Hey are you still up?
Aoyama: Yeah why?
(Y/n): You should go to sleep you need to rest you can feel fresh tomorrow.
Aoyama: I will and you too...
(Y/n): I know but you are more important right now.
Aoyama: Its ok. I have Treasure with me.
(Y/n): I see you warmed up to cat. I thought you hated it.
Aoyama: At first I did but now I don't and plus he is mine.
(Y/n): YOURS!!! No no no you got that wrong he's mine.
Aoyama: Too bad :p
(Y/n): Back off.
Aoyama: Go to sleep.
(Y/n): Fine you too. Goodnight and sweet dreams.
Aoyama: You too. Sleep well.

    I turned off my phone and put it to charge. I held the cat close to me while looking at the white sky. "I wonder what it like to be hers..." I said to myself and the kitten meowed.

  "I'm into her am I?" I asked the cat and he replied with a meow. "I takes that as a yes?" And the kitten meowed again. I smile and cuddled him.

     I grew tired and so did Treasure so I walked to my bed to jump on it. I see Treasure sitting down and looked at me. I patted on the bed so he can come to me. He walked towards the bed and the kitten jumped on. I wrapped the blanket around myself and him. I started to drift off to sleep and so did Treasure.

~Third POV~

    Treasure looked at Aoyama and licked his nose. He wanted to show his appreciation for Aoyama and (Y/n) for letting him stay at a home. He looked at them like they were his parents. He clothes his eyes with the thought of  his parent falling in love with eachother.

   To Aoyama the kitten was his bestfriend now. Just like (Y/n) he knows that the kitten would always be there for him even if they met for only one day. I guess you can say a mans best friend.
