(Aoyama X reader) Competitive love

Preschool

~Aoyama's POV~
I woke up to see Treasure sleep with his belly while and his arms spread out. I thought it was so cute and I took a picture of it so I can send it to (Y/n). I took the picture and I decided to wake Treasure up. He meowed and open his eyes to see Aoyama giggling because of how cute he is.

Aoyama:Good morning look what I woke up to.

I put my phone down and got up to brush my teeth. Treasure followed me to the bathroom and I had to admit Treasure is clingy. I heard a a ring and I walked to my phone with the toothbrush in my mouth.

(Y/n):OMG!!!So cute.
(Y/n):Wait. Were you sleeping with the cat???
Aoyama:No...
(Y/n):AWH you have a soft spot for TREASURE!!!
(Y/n):So cute. I'm going to make as my lock screen.
Aoyama:Creep.
(Y/n):Am not.
(Y/n):Anyway Do you want to go with me to help out at a preschool?
Aoyama:Why?
(Y/n): I went to this preschool and plus I wanted to talk to someone.
Aoyama:oh ok I'll be heading over to your house or mine?
(Y/n):I go to yours and we'll be taking the kitten with us. Make sure to feed him.
Aoyama:Ok I'll see you later.

I turned off my phone and went to wash my mouth. I got two bowls and filled it up with food, and the other one with water. I set the bowls down and got ready. I wanted to look fancy for some reason so I can look professional. I think I went too overboard with by the suit and tie. I went for a casual look and it took me at least 30 minutes to find an outfit.

I heard the door bell ring and went rushing to the door and opened it. (Y/n) was standing there with a book and she was looking at me with excitement. I smiled at her and let her in, she went straight to the couch. Treasure heard (Y/n) and ran to her to lay next to her.

    I went to my room to finish changing into my outfit. I wonder what (Y/n) is planning to do at the preschool. I finished and went down stairs to see no one on the couch. I was a bit confused and looked around for her. I checked the bathroom and she wasn't there. I checked the other rooms and there was no one.

    I decided to text her where she was but then I heard a phone ring on the couch. I ran but her  phone was on the table. I start to worry where she was and I hear shuffling behind the pillows. I went to move the pillows only to see her snuggling with Treasure sleeping. I blushed at her cuteness and took out my phone to take a picture.

   I shook her to wake up and she did. She looked tired and I went to the kitchen to get her a glass of water. I came back and she was putting in her beanie. She also had a bandanna to cover her eyes. (From chapter 1) She would where it when she is going into an emotional area to cover her sadness or tears if it came to that point.

    I gave her the glass and drank it in one gulp. We both got out the house with Treasure and let him roam around if he need to go to the restroom before we go.

    We started walking carrying Treasure in my arms. The preschool wasn't to far from where I lived. We walked in and she went to the office. I stood outside with Treasure cuddling him and I hear a kid crying. I got up and went to the kid that was crying and I took out tissues. I came prepared because knowing that there are kids here one of them are bound to cry. I gave him the tissues and let Treasure go to him so he can comfort him. Treasure went and snuggled on the kids leg. The kid eyes widened with shock to see a random kitten here.

"Pet him." I say.

     The kid looked up at me and smiled. The kid started to let him with love and care to the kitten. He started to smile and laugh at the kitten.

"What's his name?" The kid asked looking up to me. "His name is Treasure." I told him and I can hear him repeatedly say Treasure's name.
"What's your name Mister?" The kid asked and I smiled at him. "The names Aoyama nice to meet you." I reached out my hand to give him a handshake. "I'm Connor and I'm am 4 years old."

     The kid smiled and looked behind me. I noticed so I looked back to see (Y/n) looking straight at me. She was smiling at both of us. I smiled back and Connor looked at us. "Are you guys dating?" The kid said and he began to think. "Wait does that mean you guys kissed? Ew koodies" I looked at (Y/n) and she was blushing while laughing. "No were not dating we're just bestfriends. By the way my name is (Y/n)." Connor looked at both of them and he thought of his parents. He realized that Aoyama was looking at (Y/n) the way his father would look at him mom.

   Connor was putting the similarities between the friends and his parents. It's weird that a kid can point out love better then the two best friends. He smiled at the two and was wondering what were they doing here.

"Connor today we're going to be taking care of your class" (Y/n) said with excitement.

~(Y/n) POV~
We walked into the classroom and I realized that it was the same classroom I was in when I came here. I looked around and saw everything the same. I felt weird that nothing changed over the years.

Aoyama was looking at me intensely and started shaking me a bit to snap out of my thoughts. I wanted to cry a bit because I remembered when my parents would walk me to school. I remember both of them dropping me off with warm hugs and kisses.

I snap out of my thoughts and looked at Connor. He was hanging out with his friends while looking at toy cars. I looked around to see a little girl and boy alone. I looked at Aoyama and he looked at me.

"Do you think they like eachother?" Aoyama whispered and I looked at him with a confused expression. "I don't think they even know the word "like" and if they did then wow they have a better love life then I do." I laugh a bit and Aoyama just looked at me with a smile.

"Ok kids we have volunteers for today and I heard that one of them used to go here." The lady said and she continued. "I am Mrs. Winkleson and the volunteers are?" The kids looked at us.

   "Hello my name is Aoyama, it's nice to meet you." Aoyama waves at everyone and the kids waved back. "Hey my name is (Y/n) (L/n) it's nice to meet you. I went to this pretty when I was young." I said shyly. The kids smiled and wave back.

    -Time skip-
    
    We were at the playground and most of the kids were playing soccer. The ball came to my foot and I looked up to see the boys running after me. I kicked it back to them and Aoyama joined them. The girls were talking about girly things and some other going the boys to play.

     I was looking around and I saw how Aoyama was with kids. He was helping the boys the basics of soccer. I looked at him and smiled of how lucky his future wife would be. How lucky it would be like to call him mine. After that thought I snap myself out of my thoughts and rethink what I thought. I knows he's my bestfriend but I feel more. I don't really know what it is. I wished my mom was here so she can help me with these things.

     I joined in with them and started to kick the ball. I got the ball and Aoyama was in front of me. I ran passed him and passed the ball to the little kid. Connor was watching us from the goalie. Aoyama was running after me. The kid passed the ball back to me and Aoyama trapped me. I was going to keep coming the ball between but he was going to end up taking it away from me. He stood there and it was quiet. He smiled and hugged me in surprise and I started to laugh. We both were laughing and we were in the same position for a while.
Connor was smiling at us because he knew that what he was looking at was pure love. Love at its greatest.
