~*~*~*~* THE CAMP*~*~*~*~*~
I peered down at the valley below. Fortunately , the metal building had no roof, so I could see inside.
The building was surrounded by barbs and weird, probably poisonous, shrubs and vines.
Inside , there was no one, except a strange long pole, and soon I figured out it was the thing that emitted the long screams.
Also I noted that the opening in the roof didn't show everything, the edges where left covered, so I couldn't see everything.
" Let it go! " Someone shouted beneath me.For some reason it shouted in English. I looked down. He was hidden beneath the roof. Let what go? I asked myself.
I soon found out what. A small ragged creature stumbled out. It looked like a human, but it was so tired and pathetic looking, anyone could have mistaken it for something else .
"Now tear it to pieces ! " The same gruff voice shouted. The ragged creature got a terrified expression, and desperately tried to crawl up the screaming pole.
A sound as if a cage was being opened was made, and , to my horror, a pack of mad, crazy looking people ran out and attacked the poor thing in the middle. In a matter of minutes nothing was left but bones and flesh.
"Good boys!" The voice spoke. "Tomorrow you will get another one if you do as you're told! Now COME here." The horror people obeyed , immediately scurrying over to the voice.
I felt like fainting and throwing up at the same time. I closed my eyes and held my stomach , trying to remove that image from my head.
Finally I felt better, and gathering my wits,I looked back at the bloody scene. Someone had removed the remains of the poor person, and it was as if no Horror people attacked a poor innocent person there.
The pole screamed again. The Voice said " Your idea is pure genius . Any body would want to find and help that poor screaming woman. " I guessed they were talking about the pole. "And when someone comes, they're ours!"
These people were just sick. They rely on kindness to achieve what ever horrible thing they're trying to achieve. Well I'm gonna pay them..... A visit.
I was so immersed on thinking of the terrible things I would do to them I didn't notice the Voice ( well I think it is the voice) staring at me.
I froze. Please let him think I'm a branch please ! He probably would have , since my t-shirt was dark green and my pants light brown and hair dark brown, but he already saw my face.
"I say..." He said. Yep he was the Voice. " I think you would be more ... Useful to us than men." He got an evil look in his eyes. " Oh yes. Very useful

I tried to move , but my body was too terrified to obey me. I attempted one last time to move, and it worked.
Like lightning I was off the branch, and running away, not caring where, because all I had to do was get as far away as possible.
I sprinted until the pain in my side was too much, and I collapsed onto the forest floor, exhausted.
Must keep moving. I whispered to myself. Or they will get you. That shuddered me into motion. Painfully I tried running, but it hurt too much, so instead I walked as fast as I could.
I had to continue running. But I was completely exhausted, and it was I all I could do to drag my feet onward. So I decide to stop for a tiny minute. I deserved it.
I found a small stump near a patch of berries, that I knew from my mom weren't poisonous. I grabbed some just in case. The rest I gobbled up.
Now Spectrum, you need water. Said my mind.
I know . I replied. I'm going, okay? Just give me a minute. Sorry my mind just likes expressing its opinions.
I stood up shakily , and walked on, straining my ear to hear water. It was noon time, but that meant night. And night means Danger. Well at least to me anyway. I was being hunted down by the Voice, or worse, a pack of Horror people .
Finally I heard a stream. It was covered by small plants, so it was hard to discover. I drank some of it, the refilled my water bottle.
Now to find the most important thing.
Shelter.
I didn't feel safe on the ground, so I decided to sleep up a tree. I looked around for a tree that was hard to climb, and had a really leafy top with wide branches .
I found one. It was another Oak tree. Now to climb up and I'll be safe. Well more safer than on the ground anyway.
I circled it. It was ridiculously hard to climb up. And I think I heard voices. They were coming.
Or your mind is playing tricks on you. I suggested to myself, mainly to keep myself from freaking out.
In the end, after about 15 minutes, I saw an almost absolutely invisible foot grip, just big enough for me.
Relief swept through me, and I climbed up, trying to go higher than the mountains, but the branches weren't strong enough to hold my weigh at the top, so I settled in the middle, close enough so I could jump down and not hurt myself, but high enough for no one could reach me.
Taking some oak leaves I made myself a small bed, and settling down on it, I grabbed a dark brown blanket ( well do you except someone not to notice a bright pink blanket in the middle of a tree?) and used the backpack, which was really really really dark blue, as a pillow.
It was probably six o'clock now, judging by the sun. Oh yeah did I mention the sun sinks only at about 10 to 11 o'clock at night in summer?
"Shut it." I sat up too quickly and got my head throbbing from being hit against the overhanging branch. Stupid branch. I muttered, and rubbed the sore spot. I definitely was not imagining sounds now.
Uneasily I sat down on my makeshift bed. This was not happening. Of course it was dummy! Bugged my mind. You're being hunted down!
A hand pressed on my mouth , almost making me swallow whatever it held. I tried punching but I was losing strength incredibly fast. All Drugs are slower. That was my last thought as I fell , unconscious , into the hands of my kidnapper.
