"you know... we've never gone on a proper date before, do you want to go out tonight." the boy grinned as he looked up to the girl who was playing with his hair.

"i'd love that." she smiled back. luke closed his eyes, "i'm so glad i told you how i felt."

"but i need to tell you something..."

kimberly furrowed her eyebrows as luke sat up. "there are two reasons why i want to take you out. one, because i want it to be a proper date, and two, because i'm leaving."

again this didn't help wash off the confusion on kimberly's face. "what are you talking about? leaving where?" she asked.

luke breathes in, "tour. i'm in a band with michael, calum, and ashton."

"and you're telling me this, now?" she laughed. "technically i did, when we first met i just never gave a lot of details."

kimberly laughed, "shut up. i can't remember that far, but where do you plan to take? oh! and when should i be ready?"

"it's a secret but around 6 so i'll see you later baby," he said without realizing what had slipped until the shorter smiled.

"okay baby." she replied.

"hello, handsome" kimberly said as she sat in the passenger's seat. "hi there, got any extra clothes?" he asked.

"yup!" she nodded. "okay, now i can tell you where we're going." luke chuckled.

"we are going to go eat and after that, we're going to the beach" kimberly was ecstatic at the thought of going to the beach.

after all, the beach is her favorite thing in the whole world. so this ought to be an eventful night.
