"Kevin, calm down!" Steph yelled at Kevin as he knocked a vase off of the counter. After I dropped Dray off, Lauren updated me on Nor's disappearance. Steph had also called and told me about Kevin acting belligerent, so I booked it to Nor's house where everyone was.
"What do you mean she's missing?" Kevin angrily shouted.
"We can't find her. There are clothes spread out all over her room and her suitcases aren't there," Ayesha told him while pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration.
"Where is she?" Kevin asked as he paced around the room.
"We don't know," Lauren answered.
"You don't know? You've got to be fúcking kidding me!" He yelled once more.
"Watch yourself, Kevin," I warned.
"My girlfriend is missing and you're telling me to watch myself? Fúck outta here Klay," He rudely replied, waving me off.
"Quit playing the victim, my God," I said, rolling my eyes at the idiot in front of me.
"I swear to God-"
"Hey! You do realize that we would not be in this predicament if you weren't texting your buddy Ros! Nobody's at fault here but you," Steph yelled back at Kevin, interrupting him. Steph's not the type to shout, but you could tell he just wanted to get the point across.
"It's not even like that," Kevin replied, shaking his head.
"Oh really? And what we're you all texting about?" Steph asked as he crossed his arms, waiting for an answer.
"Well-"
"Wait! Here's an even better question. Would you have texted Ros if Nor was next to you?" Steph interjected, still with the same hard expression.
"No," Kev replied, still not seeing the point.
"Exactly. Anything you won't do in front of your girl is cheating, so congratulations Kevin!" Steph sarcastically said, grabbing his keys and heading toward the door. He was heated and clearly needed to cool off, but I don't blame him.
Kevin processed everything Steph said and sat down with his head in his hands. I nodded my head at Lauren and Ayesha, motioning toward the door.
"I'm going to stay here with him tonight. He's not in the right state of mind. Go get some rest babe, I love you," I said to my wife as I kissed her on the cheek. I watched her and Eesh walk out the door and locked it behind them.
I sat down on the couch next to Kevin. He hadn't moved an inch or said anything since Steph left.
"Realize what you just lost," I coldly said.
Normani
I awoke as soon as the jet landed and quickly gathered my things. I smiled at James, my pilot, before exiting the jet. I then entered the car that was waiting to take me to my destination.
As I turned my phone back on, I saw the countless texts from my management, friends and Kevin. I clenched my teeth at the sight of his name and blocked him from contacting me. I didn't even bother reading his shítty apology messages.
