"Wait, how do you know if it's a girl or a boy?" Dray asked, referring to our new puppy, Delilah, as he held her up in the air and intently stared at her. The whole squad decided to come over bright and early this morning to meet the new addition.

"Are you serious?" Klay asked as Laur face-palmed because she already knew the answer. "Yes Klay, this is confusing." Dray replied while he continued to try and figure out his own question. He was genuinely confused. I took advantage of this moment and took a Snapchat of Dray concentrating hard on Delilah.

"You never fail to amaze me, Draymond

"You never fail to amaze me, Draymond." Eesh said as she shook her head. After Klay explained the difference between and male and female dogs to Dray, we all sat down in my main living area.

"I can't believe this off-season is almost over." Kev sighed.

"I know, it's crazy, but I'm ready to get back." Steph said as all the boys agreed.

This is going to be a big test for our relationship and to say I'm scared would be an understatement. I 100% trust Kev, but I don't trust groupies.

"Whatcha thinking about, Nor?" Eesh asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Just excited for the season to start!" I quickly replied as both Laur and Eesh narrowed their eyes at me, catching me in my lie.

"Nah, she thinking about all her Blessings." Dray said, laughing at his own joke.

"You ain't funny." Kev told Dray.

"That's not what Wanda thinks." Dray shot back.

"Don't talk about Momma Wanda like that, fool." Klay said as Kev threw a remote right at Dray's big ass head.

"The fùck is wrong with you?" Dray asked Kev as he mugged him and rubbed the bump that was beginning to form on his head.

Ugly ass." Kev replied.

"I'll have you know that I've got hoes in different area codes, so I can't be ugly." Dray announced with arms crossed over his chest. "Dear God." Eesh whispered to herself. Our group can't get any more dysfunctional than this.

Before Kev could reply, my phone started ringing. I grabbed it out of my sweatshirt pocket and looked to see that my manager was calling me. I hushed everyone and answered.
