PRESENT TIME
We then heard the door open and slam shut. A male voice shouted from the top of the staircase:
Guy: IM HERE!! SORRY IM LATE!
The guy went down and I immediately recognized him. You see, Chris wasn't my only boyfriend. The guy who went down the stairs was Jordan...My Ex from three years ago.
Jordan: I-I got lost track of time and then-
He stopped dead in his tracks. He also stopped stammering and looked at me. His envy green eyes shined at me as his grin grew and grew. I grew pale as he stared at me. I don't care if he's a psychopath or not. He's still hot as fuck.
Those years ago, Jordan didn't get arrested because there wasn't any evidence to link him to the crime. Apparently the body of Nicole wasn't in the basement and not even the weapon was found. But I know what I saw and I know that Jordan killed that poor girl in cold blood.
Jordan: Emerald.
His voice grew deep as he spoke my name. Shivers went down My spinal cord and I got goosebumps at seeing him bite his lip after he spoke my name. Surely Gabriel knows what happened with me and Jordan. Right?
Gabriel: oh. You two...know each other?
Emerald: we were very close...
Zoy looked at Jordan from the circle. Her eyes narrowed in fury. She kept calm though.
We all sat in a form of a circle and a bottle was placed in the middle by Lola.
Lola: let's get this party started!
They all cheered in excitement including me. Gabriel then spun the bottle and it landed on Chad and Jordan. Jordan gave a big grin while Chad chuckled it off.
Chad: the Chad doesn't back down.
Jordan: "the Chad" will have to give up soon. Football is over anyways, basketball is back in season baby.
Chad: you take that back.
Jordan: I'm afraid I won't.
Gabriel: guys calm down. This is just a friendly game of Truth or Dare. No need to talk about sports, got it?
Both guys: got it.
Jordan: well, "the chad"
He said doing air quotes when he said "the Chad". The motherfucker might be funny,smart and hot but he's insane. I can't fall for him again.
Jordan: truth or dare?
Chad: Dare, son!
Jordan: *under his breath* I thought you might say that. *normal voice* I dare you...
Jordan looked around the room and stopped at me. He grinned and looked back at Chad.
Jordan: I dare you to grab the hottest girl here...and try to get her to bed.
Emerald: so you want him to choose someone to sleep with?
Jordan: correct.
Chad: that's easy bro! I can get any girl to sleep with the Chad! The Chad is irresistible.
He said as he stood up. He looked around the room and spotted Zoy texting on her phone. Chad went near Zoy.
Gabriel: I wouldn't do that If i were you.
Chad: The Chad isn't afraid of some girl.
He went closer to Zoy and placed his hand on her chin. Zoy grabbed Chad's arm and pulled it closer. She then pushed her legs onto his stomach while she pulled Chad's arm. She then threw herself back while still holding his arm. He then face planted on the ground. Zoy twisted his arm as she did a barrel roll with her feet on Chad's stomach and her twisting his arm. She then landed on top of Chad's back as she finished twisting his arm and placing it in an arm hold.
Chad: AHAHAHAHAHSGGSGSHZH!!! STAAAP PLEEESSS
Chad began to cry out of pain as Zoy twisted more and more his arm. I looked at Jordan and saw that he was laughing without any mercy towards Chad.
Zoy: don't ever! Try and sleep with a girl just because she's hot! Got it pussy head!?
Chad: YUS! JUST LET GO OF MY AAAAARMMM
Zoy let him go and stood up. She then sat next to Gabriel as Chad wimpered on the ground.
We continued this game if truth or dare for about an hour. Finally we ended the game and went upstairs and joined the party. The entire fucking school was here partying about and shit. There were also a lot of University Students here too. Brandon took out some beer for everyone and some vodka. I decide to have a drink or two. I stepped in the bar and ordered a shot of whiskey.
Jordan: Hello my queen.
Jordan came into the bar and sat next to me. His green eyes shattering my soul with all of our good memories together.
Emerald: Get away from me.
Jordan: oh come on. What did I ever do to you?
He leaned in closer but I ignored him. The bartender finally brought my whiskey and placed it near me. Jordan grabbed it and walked to the other side of me and offered the drink to me. I took it out of his hands and took a sip. He then stepped behind me and whispered in my ear.
Jordan: My queen. I know you're mad at me for what happened to Nicole...but you didn't know her. You didn't know the true devil that she was.
He was so close that I could hear his warm breath on my neck as I tried ignoring him. I took another sip of my drink as Jorden leaned in to my neck. He then began to kiss my neck as his hands lingered on to my waist.
Emerald: S-stop! Get a-away From me you creep!!
I pushed him away causing my drink to come crashing into the ground. I began to get dizzy. The room around me began to spin around. I stood up from the bar stool, which was a bad idea, and held the bar for support. Unfortunately that did nothing and I began to get incredibly dizzy and sleepy.
Emerald: w-wah did you...do?
I said to Jordan, struggling to speak.
Jordan: don't worry. Your safe now.
Everything went blurry and then dark.
JORDAN'S POV
I watched as My sweet queen came crashing onto my arms. She must've not seen how I poisoned her drink with the medication they gave me in therapy. I'm finally going to feast on her body as if it where a meal for Kings. I carried her in my arms bride style and carried her away onto the hallways. I hid her away from people as quick as possible. I didn't want any whiteness nor obstructions to my plan. I was going to Take back my queen...My jewel......my Emerald.
EMERALD'S POV
I don't know what happened but I do know one thing. And that this is that I woke up in a room that was messy as hell. I was in my underwear and lying on a bed. The room was dark and damp but i could still here the booming music from the party. So I assumed that I was still in the mission. My vision was still very blurry but i still tried to adjust it. Unfortunately it was no luck since no matter how hard I tried my vision was still blurry. I looked at the door of the room which was open. There was a male dark figure standing in the middle of the room with another male figure. I began to hear voices discussing which was the two males. I couldn't quite understand them over the music. I looked and saw one of them throw a punch at the other. Scaring one of male figures causing him to run away. I wanted to stand up and see who were these people but I was paralyzed. The other male figure closed the door and approached me. I then heard a male voice whisper to me.
Guy: it's ok. E- Everything is ok! I'm here for you Miss Shinning. Just get some rest.
I felt a soft rag on top of me and assumed it was a blanket. I then slowly began to fast away into a deep sleep.
Who was that mysterious guy?
