Chapter Eighteen

"I don't know, I just want to be strong for you." He looked down at his lap as I saw a tear slip down his face. I gently grabbed his chin and turned his face towards me. I gently kissed his lips. "You don't have to be, I will be here for you like you've been for me. We will get through this together. If the police can't find her I will go out and find and kill her myself." He smiled as I kissed him again. We sat with my head on his lap the rest of the way to the apartment.

(Y/N)'S POV

Once we got to the apartment I was shocked. It was an extremely nice apartment, I was surprised they got us one this nice. Jack was surprised too, as soon as we walked in his jaw dropped. The police told us to not go anywhere for a couple of days so they could look through the crime scene and try to find Signe. After Jack and I unpacked we made dinner. We decided to make mac and cheese since we were both tired and lazy. Once we finished making dinner we went into the living room to watch some TV. "Do you want to watch (Y/F/TV/S)  (That means your favorite tv show) Jack asked. "Yea, that's my favorite." I said. We watched a few episodes before we decided to go to bed. I walked into our bedroom and changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top. I took off my makeup in the bathroom and put my hair into a ponytail. Jack changed into just his boxers. We both got into bed and soon fell asleep, we were both extremely tired. 

~TIMESKIP~

I awoke to a noise in the kitchen. I looked at the clock and saw it was 2 a.m.  I thought "Who would be in the kitchen at three in the morning. I saw that Jack was still in bed so someone must've broken in. I quietly got up, grabbed the gun out of our nightstand and tiptoed to the kitchen. When I got near the kitchen and I saw Signe. I silently gasped. I knew if I didn't kill her now they would never get her and she would come for me again. I cock the gun and quietly walk into the kitchen. Since Signe was turned around I took my chance and shot her. BANG! Luckily I hit her. Jack comes running into the kitchen. "(Y/N)! Are you okay?" I just nodded. He hugged me so tight I almost couldn't breathe. "Oh thank god, I thought something happened to you again." After we calmed down we called the police. Shortly after they arrived and took the body and asked us questions. I was relieved that she was finally gone, this time forever.
