I walk through the halls of school, Axel and Beau beside me. We are currently half way through the trial exams. Calum is currently in class teaching while we walk around for the next fifteen minutes until our boyfriends go on lunch.

"So, I'm moving in with Calum." I say as we walk. I continue to walk but feel no one next to me so I stop and turn around.
Both of them have stopped, dead in their tracks from shock.

"Won't you have to tell the school where you're living?" I give a soft smile.

"Calum has a new job offer at the school his kids go to." A grin creeps onto beau's features and she almost knocks me over with her hug.

"When does he transfer?" She asks excitedly.

"Just after the HSC exams. A month before graduation." She grins at me.

"Are you going to go public? I mean like proper public?" I shrug and bite my lip.

"I don't know. He's already said he wants to come to my graduation. I just think it'll be weird to have him there as my boyfriend rather than my teacher." Beau purses her lips.

"Who cares what anyone else says okay? You guys are happy and you're great for each other." I smile and hug her again.

"I'm so happy for you." Axel says as he walks to me more calmly than his sitar and hugs me.

"Thank you guys." They smile and we continue to walk around until we hear the bell go off.

We make our way to Jason's homeroom. The boys are all there already. I smile when I see Calum. Walking up to him, I place my hand on his cast and the other, I use to cup his cheek, bringing him closer and pressing my lips on his.

His hands make their way to my hips as I deepen the kiss. He gives my sides a light squeeze before parting his lips from mine.

"Hello to you too." He says with a chuckle. I blush and smile as I look in his eyes.

"I love you." He smiles and kisses my forehead.

"I love you too." I bite my lip and lead him to one of the chairs. He sits down and I sit on his lap. Something I wouldn't usually do but today I feel a little more clingy. Not that he seems to mind as he just wraps his arms around my waist and holds me to him.

As we are all sitting around eating lunch, Calum gets a phone call.

"Andie, slow down I can't understand you." He pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs.

"Alright, I'm coming to get you I'll be there in half an hour." He hangs up the phone. I can see the strain on his face.

"Andie?" I ask curiously.

"My brother. He needs my help." He sighs with irritation in his voice.

"Did you want me to go with you? You seem pretty shitty about this." I say.

"Do you have any more exams?" He asks. I shake my head.

"Okay. I just have to talk to boss about leaving early. Stay in here I'll be back." He kisses my forehead, his voice in a monotone the entire time he's talking. I watch as he walks out.

"Jasón." I call. He turns to me with a smile.

"Do you know the story with Calum and his brother?" I ask. Jasón bites his lip.

"You should ask him." I purse my lips but nod. I know he's right, I just don't want to force Calum to tell me but at the same time I want to understand how his brother could change his mood so rapidly.

Calum walks back in and grabs his things off the bench. I wait for him to look up at me from the desk. Once he does he reaches out his hand for me. I take his hand and get off the chair, letting go of his hand before getting out of the room.

We get into his car, he sighs and curses when someone doesn't let him into traffic as he tries to exit.

"Turn the car off." I say. He looks at me confused but does as I ask.

"Hop out and get into the passenger side." I say before I get out, not waiting for him to reply.

I get back in to the car and he's buckling himself into the passenger seat. He turns to me as I buckle myself in.

"Thank you." His words are soft. I just start the car and get onto the main road.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"Police station." I glance his way to see him looking ahead, avoiding my eye contact.

"Okay." I say softly.

I park in the parking lot. Both of us getting out. He takes my hand straight away and walks with me inside the station. We get to the front desk and Calum sighs.

"Andie." He sighs. The man sitting down behind one of the desk further in the precinct looks up. He is a spitting image of Calum. He has the same coloured hair and eyes. Though he does seem a little buffer and has prominent dimples on his cheeks.

"Callie. He's in the cell. Can you take him home please?" Calum sighs.

"Why don't you get someone to call a cab." The man, I'm assuming to be Andie sighs and stands up from his desk moving toward us.

"No, I want to make sure he gets home safe please?" Calum rolls his eyes.

"Fine give me the paperwork." Andie hands Calum paper work. I just rub his shoulder slightly seeing how upset and pissed he seems.

"I'm Andrew Lilac by the way." He says turning to me as Calum signs paper. I smile and extend my hand out to him to shake. He smiles and shakes my hand.

"I'm Ivory Gibson." I introduce myself.

"Who are you to my brother?" He asks. Not in an intruding way but because he is curious.

"She's my partner Andie." Calum said glancing up from the paper work.

"As in you're dating? What happened there?" He asks obviously implying about his wife.

"We broke up it wasn't working. She was cheating on me. So I left her." Calum sounds quite disinterested in the discussion.

"Alright, bring him out." Calum says with a sigh.

I watch as Andie walks away only to appear again soon after with a man that looked disheveled and ageing. He looks to be about late fifties and his eyes show a remarkable resemblance to Calum and his brother.

"Hey Calum." The man says in a soft, slightly chirpy slightly drunk tone.

"Dad." Calum says in a short snappy tone.

"Come on don't be like that." Andie scolds.

"Andrew you're lucky I'm even doing this. Don't talk to me about how to speak to my father." He snaps rather aggressively.

I watch the scene unfold in front of me. So far I'm gathering the tension between the boys is to do with their father and that Calum has some deep seeded hate for their father and Andrew seems to not have a problem with their fathers behaviour even despite the fact that he is a police officer.

I don't know any background story or any relevant facts to make this less awkward. I just don't know I'm prepared for the car ride.
