Euphoria (Gon x reader)

Hunter x Hunter time, folks! This one shot will be featuring our little cute innocent angel.I would usually prefer to write​ Killua first but for some reason I chose Gon.This may be a bit long.

Whale island was beautiful.The surroundings would embrace you within it's breathtaking glory.The cool breeze would always carry the fresh fragrance from the forest.The closure towards nature was what made the island special.

It was morning.The air was fresh and pure like the start of the day.However there were signs that it would rain soon.(Y/N) was sitting on the back porch of grandparents house, allowing herself to get immersed in her thoughts.

She was sent to Whale island to live with her grandparents as her parents are going through a financial crisis.Apparently, one of the employees in the company sold off some important documents to their rivals.This resulted the company to fall into bankruptcy.

Her father and mother have currently dedicated themselves in restoring their financial empire. This all didn't go well on (Y/N).Her parents were always around her,doting on her and spoiling her.So, she wasn't happy that they pushed her away so they could work.

She kicked a stone in frustration and plopped back down on the porch with a pout on her face."Honestly, they are so unfair..." she muttered under her breath.

"(Y/N)!" her grandmother called from inside.

"Seriously, what now?" The (H/C) girl grumbled before getting up and going inside.Her grandmother was sitting on a chair, sipping tea from a steaming cup.There was a warm smile on her face.

"Yeah, what is it?" (Y/N) asked rudely.

"It seems that your grandfather is going to work till evening.So, can you please go to the fields and give him this bento" Gramma said gesturing the ox on the counter.

  (Y/N) didn't want to go.To reach the fields one must go through the forest and she didn't like such places.However, her Gramma can't walk such a long distance because of her aching legs and she couldn't possibly let her Grampa miss his lunch either.

(Y/N), we will come back soon.So please take care of Gramma and Grampa...

"Okay, then I will be back soon"The girl huffed after she took the bento and left.

"Wait, take an umbrella with-" 

*Bang*

"That girl" The old woman sighed.

-Time skip-

  (Y/N) walked cautiously through the forest.She looked up only to see dark and angry grey.'I forgot to take an umbrella and it looks like it's going to rain soon.If it does rain I might get lost.I should hurry '.

The girl quickened her pace as strong gusts of wind blew.However she couldn't make it as a particle of soil went in her eye.Her vision blurred and eventually she lost her footing.She screamed as she fell down the slope and cause her foot to hit the sharp edge of a stone.

"The hell..." She cursed as she clutched her foot in again.

'Wait, the bento'.Her eyes widened and frantically scanned her surrounding.Her gaze fell on the now open bento and the spilled contents.When she thought that it couldn't possibly get worse it started to rain.

 (Y/N)forced her to stand and leaned against a nearby tree for support.She squinted her eyes in pain.Small pants escaped her lips at a rhythm.She slowly closed her eyes.God, it really hurts.

"Hey, are you alright?" An innocent voice asked.

The girl opened her eyes slowly.Her (E/C) eyes met a pair of hazel ones.It took a moment for her to grasp the situation but when she did, she realized that it was a boy hanging upside down from a tree that had addressed her.Not that just that their faces were...

...so close

  (Y/N)'s face exploded in deep crimson.She yelped in surprise casing the boy to giggle."W-what?!" the girl asked giving him a deathly glare."Nothing" he said and dropped down.

"Come with me I can take you somewhere dry" he said with a bright big smile.The (E/C) eyed girl stared at him skeptically.The boy noticed this and sighed.He walked to her and picked her up causing her to blush in embarrassment.

"You're hurt aren't you? So I'll carry you" he said with a grin.

Reader's P.O.V

He took me to a cave nearby and treated my foot which was now swollen.We waited until the rain stopped.Until then we were talking.I learnt that his name was Gon Freecs  and that he lived with his aunt and grandmother.

He was a hunter also.After the rain let up he helped me gather some fruits for my grampa.Then he accompanied me to the fields.I must admit he was a really nice person unlike the snobby kids of rich people which I mostly associate with.

However, he didn't stay for long.After accompanying me all the way back to my grandparents home, he left saying that he needed to head back.For some reason I felt kind of sad that he left.I hope that I can see him again

-time skip-

I was entered the big room that contained the piano.I opened the lid of the piano and sat down on the stool.When I did I noticed it was a bit high.I sighed before getting up and adjusting it.I sat down again.This time it was a perfect height.

I smiled as my fingers brushed against the keys of the piano.I learned to play the piano when I was a little kid.However, I would only play it when I was in a particular good mood which I never was ever since my parents left me never was until now.

A smile tugged on my lips as I positioned my fingers over the keys.I sat up straight and started to play.

As I played, I felt euphoria burst in my chest.I put all that emotion in my music.Within moments I lost my touch with the world.The blissful symphony reminded me of Gon.I was never believed in the concept of 'love at first sight'.But I don't think I liked Gon because he was cute.He was really nice to me.

I let out a deep sigh as I finished playing.I heard clapping from the doorway.I turned to see Gon standing there and my Gramma behind him.

I blushed a bit."Wow, I didn't knew you played piano.You are really good"  he said.

"Thanks" I said shyly and smiled at him.

When you find someone who can make you laugh.Smile.Grow.Lust.Want.Crave.Feel.Make you mad but happy.Keep that.That's euphoria.
