Shout out to TsumikiHikari for requesting this.Sorry for taking some time.Okay so FYI, I am not sure how to frame Kaito's personality so I just made him a caring and silent type who is a jerk sometimes.

"(Y/N)!" A blue haired guy was heard in front of a white house.On hearing his voice, an (H/C) haired girl poked her head out of the window curiously. Kaito smiled and waved at her. (Y/N) scoffed at him before shutting the window and blinds. Kaito's smile faltered as his hand sunk slowly.

He trudged slowly towards the front door and hung a plastic bag containing (Your favorite pastry or snack) on the doorknob. After sending the girl a text regarding the bag, he left. As he walked away he wondered why things came to this but then again it was his fault.

(Y/N) watched her friend leaving with a heavy heart. When she was sure he wasn't around she opened the front door and took hold of the cover. She opened it and peered inside. Her lips stretched into a fond smile on seeing his gift. Despite, being pleased with the gift, a small tear escaped her eyes and slid down the cheek. It was painful for both of them.

Two young kids were running about the park while playing the game of tag. innocent giggles and laughter resonated throughout the park chasing away all sorrows. The girl finally decided to take a little break to replenish her energy. Noticing his companion's state the boy joined her also.Soon they immersed themselves in a conversation.

The sky was painted with orange and yellow rays of the mighty sun while it was setting as if it wanted to show the world it's masterpiece before it disappeared into the horizon. "Hey Kaito" the girl called earning a hum in response "If I wrote you some lyrics of a song will you sing them". 

"No," he said blankly.

"Why?" (Y/N) whined.

"Because your lyrics suck and people may not listen to my music. I don't wanna take risks," he said. The girl pouted and turned away from him obviously hurt by his choice of words. "But" Kaito continued "If you try really hard to come up with cool lyrics I may sing them"

The girl smiled. With a huff, she said, "Of course, I'll come up with such good lyrics that will knock your socks off". "Keep dreaming" Kaito shot back.This cued a long fight which lasted till the parents of the girl came to pick them up.

School was a nightmare. Other than dealing with the bullies, (Y/N) had to deal with mean teachers and a ton of homework. It was currently lunch break for her but she decided quickly had her sandwich and ran along to the library to work on her poems. 

Poetry always calmed her down whether it was reading or writing, it was special for her. After giving her usual greeting to the librarian-her best friend- (Y/N) moved to the secluded corners of the library for privacy. She worked silently with her tattered notebook and pen on her latest poem.

It was actually lyrics to a song. One which was meant for Kaito to sing with his clear soothing voice. Her hand trembled slightly at the thought of her first love. Calming herself with a couple of breaths, (Y/N) found herself pouring all of her emotions into the paper.

She finished a few minutes before the bell. This was the best so far. Proud of herself, she decided to keep it the way it is without any modifications. She tucked the paper carefully between the pages of her notebook and bid goodbye to her librarian friend. 

'Should I give it to him?' She wondered as she walked through the hallway in the direction of the music room where Kaito spent most of his free time.(Y/N) felt as if butterflies were in her stomach, oh how much she wanted to punch them to stop.
