Mending Dawn (Twilight Fanfiction)

Questions.

Edward's P.O.V.

When we arrived at school, everyone stared like they usually do. Except there was a different reason. We were all with our mates in separate cars. I was with Alice in my Volvo. Rosalie was with Jacob in her convertible, Nessie was with Jasper in his Viper and Bella and Emmett were in his Jeep. Bella and Emmett had worked things out with Carlisle and Esme, when they were out in public, Esme and Carlisle would be married, and Bella and Emmett would be together. That way, no humans would approach any of them.

I pulled into the parking lot and helped Alice out of the car. All the guys did this for their mates. 

Everyone was staring at us and I was sure that we would be the centre of attention for a couple of weeks, maybe months. It didn't matter to us. We were used to it.

'I thought Rosalie was with Emmett?'

'Wasn't Bella with Edward last week?'

'Alice was with Jasper, I'm sure of it.'

Yeah, and Renesmee and Jacob were single.' 

'Damn, there goes my prom date.'

That last comment was funny, prom wasn't for another couple of years and they were already thinking about who they were going to ask.

We arrived and got to our classes on time. I was with Alice so I was sure that we would be OK. I needed to make sure that we were sat together. Alice had promised me some alone time that I so desperately needed. I might have to up the charm to get what I wanted. And then with the male teachers, Alice would be able to take it from there. It would look a bit weird if I dazzled the male teachers. With the females I could get away with it. They all had indecent thoughts whether I dazzled them or not.

We walked into Psychology and Alice knew what to do. She walked up to Mr Cartlidge and requested that me and her be sat together. She didn't have to do much persuasion. He seemed like someone who didn't care where his students sat. Me and Alice worked out all of our classes so that we were sat together.

Some of the students were staring at us. And because we were in the middle of the classroom we couldn't exactly ignore them. If we were sat in the back corner then it would be so much easier to ignore them. And for me to put my hands on Alice's thigh.

"Right, Edward and Alice I want to you sit where Becky and Sophie are, I can't deal with everyone looking at you when they are supposed to be looking at me." Mr Cartlidge said.

I looked to see who had stood up and we were now seated in the back corner. This couldn't have worked out better. I didn't really want to get to know people's names because we wouldn't be socialising with anyone. It wasn't worth it. We didn't know whether they would become suspicious and start looking more into our family and start asking questions. So we steered clear.

Bella's P.O.V.

It was first period and me and Emmett just wanted to go home. I couldn't deal with being without Carlisle. This was my first Carlisle Detox. Thankful that Edward couldn't hear me i could think of anything I wanted, like the first time we made love. When we only just realised that we were mates. I knew then that I didn't want to be without him. I would definitely get some alone time with him tonight. I didn't want it, no, I needed it. I was sure that he was missing me as well.

I am sure that his patients were keeping him occupied. He always kept his work and personal life separate.

Me and Emmett were pretending to be together so that no humans would try to ask us out. It's not that I had anything against them. I just didn't want to talk to them. I had been a vampire for a while now and humans didn't really want to talk to us so we stayed clear of them.

Sorry it's short, I don't know where I am going with this. Do I focus on Renesmee? or someone else. I need ideas
