About an hour later they were all still at the beach talking while Jack and Abby were playing in the water.
"Look what I found mummy!" Abby yelled as she held up a shell for about the 100th time.
"That's great honey..." Kaylee said. Again.
"Do they do that all the time?" Sean asked.
"Oh yeah." Kaylee said.
"Do you sometimes wish you didn't have kids?" Skye asked.
"Not really. Sometimes you question why and how it happened but I never regret it. They bring me so much joy." At this Kaylee's face lit up.
"So...Have they ever met their dad?" Noah asked cautiously.
Kaylee hesitated before answering. "No." She simply stated.
"Will they ever meet their dad?" Josh continued.
"Probably not." Kaylee said.
Everyone then went silent and wanted to ask why but didn't.
"So..." Said Kaylee, breaking the silence. "...How're things at The Lodge?" She asked Skye.
"Well business is pretty smooth and we have invented even more fun fruity flavours on the menu!" Skye replied with a bit of a laugh. "How's biking going?" She asked Sean.
"YOU KNOW WHAT!" Alex suddenly bursted out. "I just remembered that I have to go pick up...the toilet?" She questioned herself.
"You have to go pick up a toilet?" Josh asked.
"I MEANT, I have to go to the toilet and then pick up a parcel so I'm gonna head home!" Alex then walked off as quickly as possible.
"Well bye then..." Sean said.
"Actually, It is getting kind of late, the twins will be tired soon, I better head off." Kaylee told them.
"I'll come too!" Noah exclaimed and they all looked at him weirdly. "Uh, you know to...help you with the other child."
Kaylee then got the twins and her and Noah left.
"It is getting pretty late, my dad will be needing help back at The Lodge." Skye said and headed off.
By this point there was only Sean and Josh.
"Wanna eat ice-cream and play video games 'till 3am?" Josh asked Sean.
"Sure, why not?" They then went home and did exactly that!
