Noah and Kaylee decided that the next day they would take the kids back to the ferry terminal for a picnic. There was a park nearby and the twins were playing in it. Noah and Kaylee sat down on the blanket talking.
"They're so cute!" Noah stated looking at the kids.
"Not until you have to live with them." Kaylee mumbled.
"Can I ask you something Kayls?"
Kaylee blushed and nodded. No one had called her Kayls for years!
"What happened to us?" Noah asked.
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I mean."
"Well, we finished Music School, I went to University and you didn't. We just lost touch."
"But what if I don't want to lose you again?"
Kaylee paused and said, "You don't have to."
She then leaned in and her soft lips pressed against Noah's. They fell into a deep kiss and pulled away from each other when they heard, "EW, Mummy is kissing Noah!"
"No she's not." Jack said to Abby who had interrupted the kiss.
"She was! I just saw her!"
"Liar!" Jack snapped and walked away.
"I just saw it..." Abby whined and ran after her brother.
"They're also nosy." Kaylee laughed.
"Yeah. So, what happens next?" Noah asked nervously.
"I don't know." Kaylee said.
"Well what was that?"
"What was what?" Kaylee asked confused.
"The kiss. Did it mean anything?"
"If you want it to."
"But do you want it to?" Noah asked hopefully.
"Kind of."
"Do you want to try to make it work?"
"Yes." replied a definite Kaylee.
Sorry I haven't posted, I was on an 8 day trip and didn't have wifi but I am trying to post more and get just a naylee book up and running.
