They had all been practicing for the concert for the past couple of days before the day finally arrived.
"Alright, stage set up, catering, people...wait, WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE?!"
"Woah, Skye, calm down. The concert starts in another 2 hours!" Josh told Skye who was pacing in worriedness.
"Oh, uh...yeah, that's right." Skye replied, quite embarrassed.
Meanwhile...
"Asher?"
Noah had been looking for Asher for ages.
"Asher, where are you?" Noah groaned.
Just then Luke came into the Lobby.
"Hey Luke, do you have Asher's number?"
"Yeah, why?" Luke asked Noah.
"Can you call him and ask him to come to the Lobby?" Noah asked.
"Sure." Luke said before walking away to call Asher.
A few minutes later Luke came back into the Lobby.
"Uh, Noah. He asked if you could meet him the the basement."
"Uh...tell him I'm coming down there now."
Noah then walked out of the Lobby and down to the basement.
"I can't do it." Asher said to Noah when he reached the bottom of the stairs.
"What? But you have to!" Noah told him.
"Why? What if she says no!"
"She won't! You know what, I'm gonna call someone to come and see you about this. Believe me, they can help you."
Noah then went upstairs to make the call while Asher was downstairs, shaking like crazy. Noah came back downstairs and a few minutes later Kaylee appeared.
"This is your solution?" Asher asked Noah.
"Look," Noah started, walking towards Kaylee. "Kaylee and I had the same problem. We were best friends and liked each other for so many years before we actually admitted it." By the time Noah had finished his sentence he had his arm around Kaylee and she had her arm around his back.
"Yeah, believe me, ask her now, I can tell you're ready!" Kaylee told Asher.
"But what if I'm not..." Asher started.
"Then you will have missed out on some amazing times, I know I did." Noah said, smiling at Kaylee.
She smiled back before turning her head back to Asher to say, "Just jump."
"What?" Asher asked.
"Jump. Take a leap of faith. You'll never know if you don't try. Trust me, Gabby feels the same way as you do, I can tell."
Asher was pretty convinced by Kaylee's argument, but wanted to know one thing before asking Gabby.
"Why didn't you jump?" He asked Noah and Kaylee.
"Uh, well..." They both said.
"We were just scared of losing our friendship but now when I look back I realise I should've jumped earlier." Kaylee said.
"Well how did you ask her out?" Asher asked Noah, motioning to Kaylee.
"Uh, well, it wasn't really asking out kind of...I said, 'am I just your friend?'..." Noah started.
"And then I said 'No'..." Kaylee continued.
"And I asked 'so what am I?'..."
"And I eventually blurted out 'I love you, you idiot.'" Kaylee and Noah finished.
"Geez, that helped..." Asher said sarcastically.
