The Lodge 10 Year Reunion!

We Can't Do It

"Dad?" Skye said entering Ed's office at The Lodge.

"Hey, I need to talk to you about something..."

"You sound nervous dad..."

"I know it's just...I don't think we can run The Lodge anymore."

"WHAT!?"

"I know you're mad but we have been advertising for new employees for months and no ones applied. We just don't have enough people to run this place."

"But what if I find more people and..."

"Skye, we just can't do it. That new hotel in town is also just taking all our business."

"What if we bring something back..."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, people did love that concert and we do have everyone here..."

"Our annual concert?"

"Yes but we will have new teenagers up there ready to bring the energy back!"

"Are you sure about this Skye?"

"Positive dad!"

"OK, but you'll have to organise it."

"No problem, I have just the people for the job."

Later on in the locker room...

"So, I am putting on a concert and you eight are the stars!"

In the room with Skye there were eight 15 year olds; Gabby, Luke, Cameron, Emma, Jade, Harper, Aidan and Asher.

"Why are we the ones in the concert?" Asked Harper.

"Because you are." Skye replied. "Don't worry, my friends are helping. Noah and Kaylee are writing a song, Josh is the announcer and all of us will be choreographing a dance for you."

"So basically we don't do any work?" Asked Cameron.

"Well you have to get up on stage and dance and sing but..." Skye was then cut off.

"On stage? In front of an audience? No way." Emma said while shaking really hard.

"Don't worry, my friend Kaylee had stage fright, I'm sure she can help you out." Skye said cooly and calmly.

"Anyway, we all have to get back to work otherwise your dad will fire us so catcha round!" An attitude filled Jade said.

"OK then, bye." Said Skye.

"Bye." All the kids waved as they left.
