It was hot. Me and Lei were playing GTA 5 as always. It was the middle of July and it was hot. Me and Lei were kicking butts in the game. I paused the game real quick and stretched. "Let's go get something to eat and find a fan while were at it" I said. Lei just nodded, we both were sweating like crazy. I looked at my clock and saw it was 4:57 in the morning. We played from 5:48 p.m. Wow. It turns out we played for 11 hours. I yawned at went downstairs after Lei. We stopped at the fridge. I looked at Lei's straight black hair, and brown eyes. "What ya want?" I said. "A root beer and ice cream!" She said. I nodded and made hers while I made a root beer float for me. "Come on!" Lei said running up to my room located in the attic. I followed close behind. I shut the door before heading upstairs. Lei was already putting on the headphones and picking up the gaming controller. I put my headphones on and grabbed my controller. I was playing with Lei for another 2 hours. I sighed and lied down. Lei pulled out her headphones. "Wanna play a different game?" She said. I nodded and went to my shelf where all my games were. I looked when my eyes fell on a bright video game. I pulled out. Virtual World It said. I turned around and showed Lei it. She shrugged and nodded. I put it in the Xbox. I waited for it to load when my eyes shifted to Lei. She was curious by this game too. I put my headphones in and looked back at the screen. I pressed it when it was done loading. Do you want to play? [Yes]  [No]. I looked at Lei and she nodded. * [Yes] . I clicked yes and I felt the pit of my stomach drop. I heard Lei gasp so I looked over and I did a double take. LEI WAS DISINTEGRATING IN FRONT OF ME!!! My fingers felt tingly and I looked down at my fingers and my eyes bulged out of my head. I WAS DISINTEGRATING LIKE LEI!! My eyes went dark for a moment before I opened them. Where am I? I looked around. It looked like a parkour race. Wait...WHY AM I NOT IN MY ROOM!?! I looked around and saw Lei, except she looked like an older version. She still had straight black hair, tan skin, and a small frame. "Pssst, Lei!!" I said. Her attention snapped to me. "Nina?" She said. I nodded. Lei eyes bugged. "Nina...you look different, I mean you still have curly brown locks and hazel eyes but you look...older." She said. I nodded slowly, "You do too Lei" I said. That's when I heard a voice boom. "PICK YOUR CHARACTER STYLE!!" . I jumped and saw words. "H-how?" I whispered to myself. That's when hair color, outfit, and eye colors pop in front of me. "Holygoatchessesandmustard" I said. I was hesitant to touch the words. I picked icy blue eyes, blond hair, and shorts and a half shirt. I kept my tan skin. I looked at Lei and saw she had very curly long hair, green eyes. She looked sorta the same. That's when I saw her outfit and groaned. She was wearing short shorts and a sports bra. I just rolled my eyes and waited for the voice to sound again. "FIRST TEST....JUNGLE" The voice boomed. Wait what!? The darkness around us melted away to revel a thick dense jungle. Craaaaap.
I grabbed Lei's arm and dragged her into the jungle with me. This isn't going to end well.
