Not Gameover for Me

I watched as I was enveloped in darkness. I watched as my hair grew long and turned red. I watched as options appeared in front of me. (Continue)   (Respawn). I raised my fist and slammed a button. (Respawn*) . I WASN'T gonna give up easily. I looked around as the landscape materialized around me.

"You have 2 lives left" I heard someone say. I looked around and saw a boy my age. He had raven black hair and warm chocolate brown eyes. He looked at me sadly.

"W-who are you?" I asked. He just looked at me. I stared at him and took a step towards him.

He took a step back. "I-im like you, except I still need to escape" he said putting his hands up in a surrendering way.

I nodded. "Please don't be afraid of me. I'd like to help you" I said extending a hand and smiling warmly.

He took my hand and smiled back. His eyes seemed to sparkle with a soft light. His hands were warm and soft.

"Who the hell is this?" I heard Zane growl behind me. I turned around to see Zane glowering at me. He then turned to look at the boy and his scowl deepened.

"I'm Josh" he said smiling. They both looked to be the same height. Josh was buff and it made him look bigger then Zane. Of course, another tall person.

I stepped in between and gave Zane a cold look. He then looked at me and realized I was alive About time.

Zane crushed me into a hug and called for Lei. "LEAVE ME ALONE! GO WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" I screamed.

"Let the lady go." I heard a deep voice growl. I saw Josh looking angrily at Zane. Zane backed up surprised.

I finally gasped for breath that was squeezed out of me. I nearly fell over but Josh helped me stand up. I gave him a nod of thanks.

He let go but stayed near me just in case. I saw Lei burst through the bushes gasping for air. She saw me and started to run to me before I gave her a cold stare and Josh stare her down.

She stopped died in her tracks. She looked at confused. "Wh-what did I do?" She asked dimly. I just stared at her.

Josh touched my shoulder and my skin tingled while my heart did a flip. He gave a look that said 'Let her talk'. I nodded and looked back at her

"Speak" I said giving her a death stare. She looked at him and her and Zane gasped. I looked behind me and only saw Josh smiling at me. I shook my head and looked at them, they ran.

{Josh P.O.V}

Little did  Nina know Josh was planning on using her. The little girl doesn't know what's coming. I chuckled darkly and told her to follow me.
