Chapter Sixteen

Elizabeth P.O.V

I woke up to Gabby crying. I walked in the nursery and saw her in Jimin's arms.

"Shh Ellie. It's okay. Daddy's got you. Let's try not wake momma up." I smiled at Jimin. I walked over to them and looked at Gabby.

"Well, it looks like we already did." Jimin sighed. "I was trying to let you sleep in. I know you worked late last night."

"It's okay, babe." I rubbed his back. I could tell that he really was trying to let me sleep in.

"Do you want me to make breakfast?" I asked him.

"No, I want you to go back to bed." I laughed.

"Pancakes sound okay?" I asked him as I walked out of the room.

"Yea. That's fine." He sighed.

I went downstairs to the kitchen and started making pancakes. My phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Des. I picked it up and answered it.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Liz? Um, can I come over in a few? I need serious help and advice."

"Um, yea. That's fine. Whenever you want, you know that."

"Ok. I'm gonna wait until Jungkook leaves. Oh, can you call Katie and ask her to come over too? I need both of y'all."

"Okay, sissy. I will call her. I love you. Be careful on your way over here. Bye."

"I will. Love you too. Bye."

I grabbed the chocolate chips. I knew that if Katie was coming over also, I needed to make chocolate chip pancakes too. I picked my phone back up and called Katie.

"Hello?" Katie answered.

"Hey, can you come over to the house in a few? Des needs us." I told her.

"Okay. I'll be over in 20. Do you know what it is about?" She asked.

Jimin walked up behind me and kissed my shoulder. He put his hand on my lower back and stared at me.

"Nope. No idea. I just know she needs our help." I responded.

"Okay. See you shortly."

"Okie dokie." She hung up. Well, okay then.

"What was that about?" Jimin asked me as I put my phone down.

"I don't know. Des needs our advice and help about something
Not sure what yet." I explained.

"Oh. Okay. Well, the boys want to meet up and go goofing around." Jimin said. "So, I'll probably be leaving in about thirty minutes."

I nodded.

"Okay. Be careful, please. I know how y'all can get. It's kinda scary letting y'all go around without adult super vision." Jimin bursted into laughter.

"Jin and Suga will be there. It'll be okay." Jimin said as his laughter sobered up a little. I looked at him.

"That's still kinda scary, babe." Jimin smiled at me.

After the pancakes got done, I set them all on the table. Then, as if on cue, Katie and Des walked in at the same time.

"Y'all got here at the same time?" I asked them, surprised.

"Yea. Katie was pulling in as I getting out of my car." Des explained.

"Are those chocolate chip pancakes?" Katie asked with her eyes locked on the pancakes.
