My Brother's Bestfriend (Jimin Fanfiction)

Chapter Nine

Elizabeth P.O.V

Weeks had passed since I had that conversation with Jimin. I told Katie what happened between us and she offered that I stay with her so I have been living with Katie and Des. Work was going good. My boss had already raised up my pay a little bit, but I believed it was because he liked me. And not in a friendly way. But I wasn't interested in him. My heart, sadly, was still on Jimin. I hadn't seen or heard much about him since that night. I'd asked Tae how he was doing and Tae would always say, "rough". Part of me wished he would come back to me. But I knew that wouldn't happen. God, I hated love. You always end up hurt no matter what you do.

"Katie! I'm going over to see Tae!" I yelled to Katie so she could hear from her room. I missed my brother.

"Wait! I wanna go with you! I wanna see Suga!" She yelled back and ran out of her room. About five minutes later, we jumped in my car and drove over to the boys' house.

We walked in the house and saw Jin and J-Hope looked stressed.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Jimin came home wasted about five minutes ago. Him, Tae, Suga, and Rap Monster are arguing now." J-Hope explained.

Just then, we heard a loud crash with and arguing. Sighing, I sat down on the couch. The arguing only got louder. Jin and J-Hope just sat on the couch and looked tired. Jungkook was out with Des so he wasn't there. I decided to go to the room and figure out what was going on.

"Well it was your fault you idiot! But this coming home wasted at 10 in the morning isn't gonna cut it anymore!" Tae yelled.

"I just miss her so much." Jimin laid on his bed and cried.

"Well you sitting there crying like a child isn't gonna do anything. And your behavior is gonna get you in trouble." Suga said with his arms crossed.

I walked into the room and everybody except Jimin looked at me. Jimin had his eyes closed and didn't hear me walk in. Seeing Jimin like that hurt my heart. Did Violet hurt him again?

"Is Katie with you?" Suga asked. I glanced at him and nodded my head. He sighed in relief. He walked out of the room. Rap Monster followed. I watched them as they left the room. I looked back at Jimin and saw he was asleep. Tae sighed and looked at me.

"What are you doing here? Did you miss your big brother?" He asked, trying to make the situation a little lighter.

"Yes I did, actually." I walked over to him and hugged him. He laughed and hugged me back.

"Whats going on with him? Did Violet cheat on him again?" I asked.

"No... Him and Violet aren't even together." Tae answered honestly. My heart skipped a beat.

"The little dumb*** finally realized he made a stupid mistake by letting you go. He has been drinking everyday and just acting insane. But he doesn't deserve you. You don't need him." Tae responds as he looked back at Jimin.

'Right. Tae is right. You don't need him. You are doing just fine without him.' I told myself. I honestly didn't believe myself. I looked back at Jimin and noticed that even when he looked like hammered heck, he still was the most handsome guy I had ever seen.

Tae walked out of the room and left me in the room with a sleeping Jimin. I went over beside him and started softly singing Butterfly. I ran my fingers through his hands as I sang. He slowly opened his bloodshot eyes and looked at me while I sang. I wasn't even looking at him while I sang and ran my fingers through his hair. I was looking at the other side of the room. I glanced down at his face and saw him looking up at me with love. I stopped singing and just looked at him.

"No. Please don't stop." I continued singing. He just stared up at me the whole time. I reached into my bag and grabbed two Midol and gave it to him. He took it from me and swallowed it down without needing a drink. I stood up and Jimin grabbed my hand.

"Please don't leave. Stay here with me." He said quietly.

"Jimin. You need to sleep."

"You can sleep right here with me."

"No Jimin."

"Please?" I gave in and laid beside him. I figured I could stay beside him until he fell asleep and then I would leave. I ended up falling asleep with him cuddling up to me.

I woke up to Jimin staring at me. He smiled once he saw I was awake. I slowly got out of his bed and checked the time. It was 11:03 a.m.

"Why did you wake me up when you woke up?" I asked Jimin as he stared at me.

"Because you looked too peaceful. I couldn't wake you up." He responded while I yawned.

"You look so cute when you yawn." He complimented me. "I could get used to this. Waking up to you every morning."

"Jimin. Stop." He got quiet for a minute.

"I'm so sorry. I should've never chose her. I knew as soon as I did that I had made a huge mistake. I told her bye the day after..." Jimin stopped talking.

"Jimin. Why are you telling me this?" I asked. He looked up at me.

"I'm hoping and praying that one day, you will forgive me for hurting you and you will give me one last chance to do right."

"Jimin, you hurt me. You broke me. And I'm still not put back together. And I don't think I will be put back together for awhile." He stood up and walked over to me.

"Then give me a chance to put your heart back together. Let me fix what I did wrong. Please." He begged. I didn't answer.

"Just please, at least tell me you love me. I need to hear it. If you still love me, please tell me." I stayed quiet.

"Okay. I understand. You don't love me anymore. I deserve that. I deserve that and so much mo-"

"I love you. I love you so much." I finally admitted to myself. I had tried so hard over the past few weeks to try and convince that I didn't love him. I was finally admitting it. He stopped talking and looked at me with a shocked expression. "But I hate you..so much." I finished.

I walked over to him and hugged him. Smelling his cologne and feeling his warmth relaxed me.

"Let me fix us. Please. I promise, if you let me, I will fix everything. I will do everything I can to make you happy. I promise I will love you and cherish you every day. It will be difficult when we go on tours but I promise to keep in touch with you. I promise that I will never let anything come in between us. Please." Jimin begged while looking into my eyes.

"That's a whole lot of promises, Jimin." I said. He smiled.

"And I intend to keep every single one of them, if you'll let me." I looked at his hopeful eyes for a little while.

"Okay. But we have to take it slow. And there will be no Violet, you hear? You will not talk to her at all. Not even as friends." I said. He just smiled.

"Yes ma'am."

"Promise me, Jimin."

"I promise, babygirl." I smiled.

"Can I kiss you?" He asked. I decided to tease him.

"No." I said with a straight face. He pouted at me which was the cutest thing I had ever seen.

"I'm just playing." I laughed. He just looked at me.

"Well, are you gonna kiss me or are you just gonna stare at me?" I asked, getting impatient. He laughed and gave me a soft kiss.
