im finally going to Memphis to see my favorite cousin! i havent seen him in about 4 years when we were 16 and thats when we first became faves.
our parents keep telling us we were super close when we were little around the ages of 1 or 2 but we dont remember each other at all.
but now we are the closest thing and it feels great to be able to see him again.
we always plugging each other with people who live where we live. he was talking to this girl from my basketball team in high school, her name was grace, for a while but then she got a boyfriend because she didnt like the long distance. i was talking to a guy on his football team (Keith) and i just kept it at a friend level even though he tried to make it more. him and my cousin did. but now we are all just cool ass friends.
i was getting off the plane waiting for him to show up. i told him exactly what time i was coming idk where the freak this dude is at.
i decided to text him and see where he was at and told him i was sitting at the starbucks they had in there. i decided to order an english donut with an Egg Nog Frapp with no coffee, no milk, all egg nog, with extra whip. my favorite thing to order.
i was on my phone waiting for a reply and continued to text him blowing up his phone.
i saw someone standing over me and when i looked up i saw the most beautiful human being ever.
"Um can i help you?"
"actually you can gorgeous.. im looking for a woman about 5'4, real beautiful, nice smile, long black and blue locs, and hazel eyes... you havent happend to see her around have you?" the caramel freckled man said.
i almost choked on my drink when he described me..
"hold up.. Keith?" i asked standing up.
"in the flesh!" he said smiling hugging me.
"BOY you are finer than the facetime calls every now and then... how you been?"
"ive been great but we gotta get going.. your cousin is at home cooking and diane aint having it." he said pushing me out of the building.
"oh my god my cousins are crazy always fighting over whos cooking for family." i say getting in his car.
he bumped some lil pump on the way. this was about a 20 minute drive so not too long.
"GUCCI GANG! GUCCI GANG! GUCCI GANG! GUCCI GANG! GUCCI GANG! GUCCI GANG! GUCCI GANG! SPENT 10 RACKS ON A NEW CHAIN MY BIH LUH TO DO COCAINE!" we screamed out.
"so missy how you been?" keith asked turning the radio down.
"pretty good you know just living single and being succesful." i said smiling.
"about that single part i-"
"now keith i done told you im not with all that long distance stuff because trust and believe if i didnt care i would be all over your fine ass." i said smirking at him.
he just chuckled a little and stayed quiet.
"look im sor-"
"nah its cool.. i get the same answer everytime i dont even know why i try.." he said parking and getting out the car.
i sighed looking forward.
he opened my door and helped me get out and then went to the trunk to get my bag.
i went to go speak to him again but was cut off by someone being loud as always.
"i know dat aint my favorite cousin ova dere!"
i turned around so quick.
"FAVOOOO!" i screamed running to him. he picked me up and swung me around.
"oh my god look at you guh! you look like you just stepped off of somebody plane yah hair all da way fucked up my guy." algee said laughing dodging my hits.
"imma slap the fuck outta you bro chill with all that!" i said getting into my country side.
see when im talking to my cousin its like im one of the guys. im a huge tomboy but when im with him its a whole nother story.
"damn dont get her started bro, she got a good left hook." keith said.
"yeah you would know!" algee said laughing.
i laughed along with him.
"man shut up!" keith said leaving to the kitchen.
"anyways cuzzo how you been? you know we going to my practice right? its a late one but then we going to the 24 hour rink cuz and its gone be live man!" he said putting his arm around my shoulder as we walked to his room.
"aye okay sooo to this practice what should i wear?" i asked sitting on his bed.
"no leggings, no tight jeans, a sweatshirt and pants should be good with a pair of slides. put your hair in a bun and take that mess off yo face that you call make up bruh." he said throwing me one of his old high school hoodies and a pair of sweats that were too small for him.
i shook my head and looked at him. i always had to ask him what i should be wearing because if i didnt id have to hear his mouth anyways.
i went into the bathroom changed and did my hair how he told me too. surprisingly i looked bomb and my ass still looked big. i cleaned the make up off my face and dried it before walking out.
i closed the door and once i looked up i saw algee looking mad and keith licking his lips.
"nah this shit aint gon work." algee said throwing me an even bigger sweatshirt and sweats.
"it wont work Al just admit it ya cousin got a big ass that cant me cover and i look fine asf so ya teammates gon be all over me." i said smiling.
when i said that keith snapped out of his trance frowning at my statement.
"AH HELL NAH! the only teammate that can and will be all over you is me tf you mean? i wish you would go and entertain one of these niggas on the field i swear to god on Skyler that ass is mine you hear me?" keith growled at me.
me and Algees eyes widened with our hands on our chests looking at keith.
"yes daddy damn." me and algee said at the same time making us die laughing.
"nigga stop with alla that gay shit im serious man!" keith said sucking his teeth and sighing.
"aawww its okay." i said going to my bag and getting my own outfit.

"What did i just tell yo fast ass?" algee asked following me out the door to his car.
"are you really going to keep nagging me about my outfit fave?" i asked him.
