♧First Person♧

As the next few months of late Autumn turned into a harsher winter, business would flood into the Curry Cafe on a daily basis and would become a desert by nightfall.

For these few months though, I noticed Bakugou coming in a lot more. He would even come into the store, that he referred to as 'shitty', and would buy things there and leave. It was as if he had memorized my entire work schedule. When he would arrive at the Curry Cafe he would order the same dish, get it free, tip good and leave. Every night I would work on Retail he would just so happen to be there, buy something and leave. He would give me the cold shoulder, which made no sense. The only time he talked at all would be through 'tch' and short responses like 'ok' and 'whatever'.

Even though so much time has passed by, I still can't get that phrase he told me when I was working dressing room that day. He said it with so much confidence, almost as if he had been meaning to tell me that for years but I didn't want to listen.

That could be true if he wasn't such a dick back at Yuuei.

I brushed the memory from my shoulders and set the plate down in front of the male and sat across from him. Since we were dead, I found myself hanging around him when I had nothing to do and just sitting in comfortable silence or comfortable small talk.

Of all times to notice and for as long as he had been coming to visit the Curry Cafe and Retail, it was now that I noticed his matured features. His jawline was set in annoyance, and the sharpness of his jaw gave him an even more intimidating look. His shoulders were broader, for obvious reasons, and his collarbone and arms were defined. Even though he wore a long sleeve shirt, it was tight enough to take all of this in. I didn't realize I had been staring for so long until my eyes met with his and I realized he must have been staring at me, staring at him. My immediate reaction was to look away, my cheeks tinted pink in embarrassment.

Don't say it, don't fucking say it you cocky bastard.

"You like what you see?"

Fuck you.

"Fuck you." I glared at him. "It's not like that, I just didn't realize how mature you had gotten until now."

"You sayin' I looked immature before? Cause I wasn't!" He seethed, before returning to eating his curry

"Of course not sweetie, whatever helps you sleep at night." My voice was thick with sweet sarcasm, only getting a glare from him in return.

"Fuck off shithead."

"I'm YOUR shithead though."

"Just shut up."

I rolled my eyes, getting up, cleaning a bit and sitting down in time for him to finish his meal. "Make it home safe."

"Of course I will, idiot, I'm not like your dumbass." He huffed, pushing the door open and leaving me in the cafe with two or three other coworkers. I was probably mistaken but could've sworn I saw pink on his cheeks, but maybe that was the cold air.
