"I cut right through the wreckage and look onto the sunset..."

"Hm?" I look over to find my phone going off. Who could be calling me at this hour? I just put Nagomi to sleep. I slowly picked my phone up, it was an unknown number. I don't usually answer calls like this, but something told me it wasn't a telemarketer. "Ninomiya residence! Who is this?"

"Hello, I am looking for a... Ms. (Y/n) Ninomiya?"

I felt my heart clench in my chest, it didn't sound like anyone I knew or recognized.

"This is her, may I ask who I am speaking to?"

"Yes ma'am, I am calling from the Hosu General Hospital, my name is Dr. Kotoki. I am calling in regards of a Mr. Katsuki Bakugou."

"Oh..."

♤Third Person♤

"Momma, what are we doing here?" A sleepy Nagomi mumbled as she rubbed the sleep from her (e/c) eyes. "Are you sick, momma?" She recognized the hospital, but upon driving here, her mother did not explain anything.

"Hold on, honey. Just sit here in this chair while mommy talks to the doctors." (Y/n) offered a comforting smile and a kiss on her forehead before walking over to a desk.

"Hello! How may I help you?" The receptionist greeted happily.

"U-Um... I was called by a Dr. Kotoki? Is a Katsuki Bakugou here?"

"Mhmm, give me one second to find him and find his room and we will get you set!"

Somehow, the cheerful, friendliness of the receptionist kept the (h/c) haired girl calm and collected.

"Is that your little girl?" She pointed to Nagomi staring at the ceiling tiredly. "Is the man you're coming to see, her father? Your husband?" The women engaged in idle chatter as she typed on her computer. Almost as if to try and keep the mothers mind off of any negativity, she looked up at (Y/n) from the screen every now and then

"O-Oh no, he's just a dear friend. I'm actually confused on why Dr. Kotoki called me and not his mother." 

"Hm, that is curious, if you'll give me a moment I'll see if I can contact him." The lady bowed before walking to a phone on the wall and dialing some numbers. In the mean time, you walked over to try and explain to Nagomi what was going on.

"Ms. Ninomiya?" You looked up at the doctor, immediately standing, along with Nagomi.

"Y-Yes, c'mon Nagomi." You grabbed the girls hand and followed after the doctor.

"I am Dr. Kotoki, I apologize for not arriving earlier. The reason I called you was because, as silly as this might sound, all of the numbers in Mr. Bakugou's phone were... not pleasant sounding names." You knew exactly what he was talking about as he handed you the phone and began to read through the contact names.

Old Hag... Oh Bakugou..

Brief but suddle memories of Bakugou calling his mother an Old Hag would prove useful.

As you arrived to the room, there were a set of chairs outside. "If I may, I would suggest you leave your child outside." You looked at Nagomi, those words sending a shiver down your spine as you knew this had to be bad.
