Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...

Huh? That sound... Am I in a hospital?

Wait... Where is Nagomi? And Katsuki?

I can't hear anything with that annoying beeping sound.

The first thing you noticed was that you couldn't move. It felt like your entire body was wrapped in cement, making you feel heavy. You almost felt claustrophobic.

You weakly opened your eyes, immediately hating the fact that you couldn't rub them to get the sleep out. You also hated that it was so bright.

Fuck these lights...

As soon as your eyes adjusted, you took in what you could from your position.

My entire body is wrapped in bandages.

You could move your head and in your lower peripheral you could vaguely make out bandages over your chest, so you assumed they were all over your body.

"Urrg.." You attempted to talk but immediately found that your voice was hoarse. You knew it was from screaming in agony. You also knew a big part of it was from your mouth being dry.

Before you could experiment and see if you could use your fingers or toes, the door opened to reveal a female doctor clad in her white coat and a bright smile.

"How refreshing, you have awakened!" She walked over to you, her personality relaxed you. "Alright, I am gonna ask you a few questions and just tell me what you can." Her voice was so sweet. "Alright, what is your name?"

"(Y-Y/n).." It wasn't painful but it was difficult.

"Very good! Now, do you remember what happened before this?"

"U-Uhm... Yes."

"Great! Last question, can you move?"

"I.. I don't think so."

She began to scribble on her clipboard and set it down on a counter. "Alright, this is going to be painful but I am going to sit you up okay?" She pressed a button on the machine that moved so you were sat up in an angle. "Did that hurt?"

You shook your head. "No."

"Yay! I'll be back with some of my nurses and we will start by giving you a bath and then giving you a new set of bandages."

"A-Alright.." You sounded so weak compared to her boastful personality.

"Oh, and you also have a few visitors. That husband of yours sure was a rough one to deal with. He would not leave this room for forever. I am sure he will go ballistic if I don't tell him you are awake but you need to re-"

"No, let me see him, please?" You attempted a weak smile. "I need some positivity right now." Your voice was shaky and couldn't shake off the feeling of wanting to cry.

"Very well, but as soon as he causes you any disturbance or annoyance, just press the red button on your bed, okay?" You gave her a quick nod as you watched her write something else on her clipboard. "I'll be back."

The room was silent as soon as she shut the door. A soft ringing was heard in your ears; it was annoying.

You used this moment to try and move your fingers. You also tried to move your toes.

You then realized the problem wasn't that you couldn't move, but you were so exhausted from everything that happened that your body was too sore to move. You were running off of straight adrenaline the entire time you were being beaten.
