20-Wait, WHAT?

"Where to?"Niall asked once we got in his car.

"The Waldorf hospital."

"The hospital?Why?Are you alright?,Whats wrong?Naina?please tell me whats wrong?i thought we were going to pick up the kid you have to babysit?" Niall started questioning."Dammit naina!!answer me for fucks sake!"He screamed.I remember talking to harry and saying getting niall angry is the worst idea anybody could get.And it usually took alot to make him angry,but this dint seem like alot.

"Niall! Calm down.I am fine,"I said taking his free hand in mine to calm him down.

"Then why are we going to the hospital?"he asked again.

I slowly let go of his hand since he had calmed down a bit but,he pouted and took my hand back in his making me giggle.

"Niall......"i sighed.

"What?cant friends hold hands?"he asked and made his famous puppy face.Damn you for being so cute niall!

"yes they can."i sighed again and answered.

"Now will you please tell me why we are going to the hospital?"

I rubbed my temple with my fingers,not knowing how much to tell him.Not that i dint trust him but i just like to keep this to myself.Specially the hospital part.I don't like people knowing about Nick and Maggie.

"Naina?"

"Naina?....babe?"

Nialls voice snapped me out of my thoughts"what?"

"I asked you why we are going to the hospital?"

"oh,ummmm..."i dint know what to say.Nick has cancer and cant take care of Maggie on days when he has to go to the hospital for treatment.Nick was one of the only constant in my life so far,actually the only constant.My own parents and brother left me too.

"naina,you can tell me anything you know that right?"Niall said.

"yes i do niall"

"So don't be embaressed to tell me,do you have some girl problems you need to get cheked for?is that why we're going there?"he asked.

"WHAT?Hell no!!"i practically screamed.I couldn't believe he actually thought i had some problem.Well i actually can cause he still doesn't know the reason.

I looked up to see niall looking at me,a questioning look on his face.

"The kid we have to babysit is in the hospital,we need to pick her up from there."I said.

"oh,is she sick?"

"no no,the person she stays with has cancer,so he cant take care of her,and calls me everytime he needs someone to look after her."

"oh,thats sad."

"yea.."

The silence in the car was very awkward.I usually dint mind the silence but knowing Niall the bubby never to stop talking person that he was,it felt weird.Had i said something wrong?i could'nt help but wonder.

"Niall....."

"yes?"

"Is everything alright?"

"Yes,why would you think somethings wrong?"

"You were'nt talking or saying anything.Did i say something wrong?"i couldn't help but ask.

"Omg,no no,you dint say anything wrong,i was just thinking..."

"Thinking?"i asked"about what?"why was i being so nosey?i never asked people anything they dint want me to know,or dint want to to talk about..

"Us,"he said.

"US?"

"Yes us,you said you needed time amd stuff and i was wonrdering if you have had enough time?"

"Niall,are you saying you want to ask me out again"i questioned.

I saw some pink on his cheeks but ignored it."yes,will you go out with me naina?"he suddenly asked.

Maybe i should say yes?He will get bored on the first date itself and wont want to go out with me anymore.i should say yes.Better to let him know how boring and annoying i am now than later right?

"okay,sure"i said,which got a intant smile on his face.

"We're here,"niall announced once we had reached the hospital."

"Ok common,lets go get Maggie,you'll love her"I said and pulled him inside.Its been a while that ive seen them and i miss them so much.My little baby..

nialls pov

It Looked like naina came to this hospital alot.The receptionist and a few other nurses knew her and greeted her and she navigated the way so easily.Finally she stopped in front of one of those private rooms the patients got,and then turned towards me.

"Nick can be a little mean and cranky at times,don't mind anything he says okay?"she said.

"okay,no problem"i said and smiled.

As soon as we walked through the door a little girl probablt 5 or 6 years old came running to naina and jumped into naina's open arms,who had crouched down to be of equal height of the kid."

"mommy!!" She said jumping into nainas arms.

Wait, WHAT?!MOMMY???
