* 7 Years later*

I was laying in the bed watching Beyond Scared Straight while eating the leftover Chinese food from last night that Gerard had bought on his way home from work. Eventually, I finished the food and sighed as I set the empty container down on the nightstand. I turned the Tv off and made myself comfortable in bed, preparing to take a nap. I grabbed a spare pillow and put it between my legs. God, I was huge.

Suddenly, the front door opened and I instantly smiled.

I heard the keys jingle, the door lock, stuff being placed on the counter in the kitchen and then those light footsteps. I quickly closed my eyes before he entered the room and tried to regulate my breathing.

I heard Gerard shuffle around and something hit the wall, which must have been him throwing his jacket. He walked over to me and stood still before dropping down on his knees and grabbing my hand.

"I know you're not sleep. Smart one."

I burst out laughing and so did he, shaking his head as he did. "I hate you. How did you know?"

"Because I know you." He offered as the only explanation, leaning over to kiss me passionately. I smiled into it and he pulled away just to quickly kiss me again. "How was your day today?" I asked, rubbing my thumb across the back of his hand. "It was really good. The kids were all over the lesson because it involved decapitation." He smiled and showed all his small teeth. I scoffed. "Of course."

He stood up and began taking off his shoes. "When I was in school, fun teachers like you didn't exist. Especially history teachers." "Well, there's nothing we can do about it now, sweetie." "Shut up." I groaned and turned onto my back, letting out a big breath. I could hear Gerard chuckle quietly. "You sound like you weigh 300 pounds." "I might as well. God damn..." I hissed and pulled up my shirt, rubbing my taut stomach. I poked my lip out and watched Gerard push his black hair away from his face as he walked over. He pounced onto the other side of the bed and laid sideways, reaching out to rub it too.

"Sometimes I want to bite your stomach."

"Gerard. Oh my God. You fucking weirdo. Don't eat our baby." I made a disgusted face and smacked his hand away. "It's the same feeling I get when I have a bunch of change in my hand- I feel the urge to bite on a quarter and grind my teeth against it."

"Can you shut up? I'm trying to figure out if I should stay with a possible cannibal." I glared at him playfully. He didn't say anything. Instead, he kissed my stomach carefully and I smiled a little. "She's gonna be so spoiled."

"Uhm, no. I refuse to have her raised up like a snotty bitch."

"Mmm, too bad because I'm gonna buy her whatever she wants." Gerard mumbled against my stomach, laying his cheek against it. "No, you're not."

"Yes, I am. She's gonna be my little princess and I'm gonna spoil her so fucking bad."

I giggled and lightly smacked his head before threading my fingers through it and sighing. "Until she turns 15."

"Oh. Yeah. Then, she's gonna hate me." He shrugged. "And love me because I'll try and sneak her out even though you ground her so she can't see her boyfriend." I giggled.

"Like mother like daughter." He turned my way and smirked, his eyes bright and loving. "Come here and kiss me." I reached my arms out and he rubbed his nose before crawling up and laying next to me, one hand cupping my jaw as he pressed his thin lips to mine softly.

"God, I love you, Cali." He smiled and kissed me again before laying his head down. "Mmm, I love you too, baby." I smiled and snuggled up to him as best as I could, sighing in happiness when one of his hands reached down to still rub my stomach.
