Dimitri Pov:
" I'm sorry, Belikov. She's... there are some problems going on" He said smiling before he also took off.
After a couple of minutes, a not so pleased looking rose entered the room. Abe was whispering something in her ear. She nodded without showing any emotions. She started to talk to people like nothing happened but she was avoiding her mom.
Everything seemed back to normal, well I'm not shocked. Abe is reasonable so I would expect Roza to be same. There are a lot of business partners of Abe here, I'm guessing this is a fake act for the people.
Ohh, didn't we all know how to fake for the camera!
"Hey, Dimi!" Roza said coming toward me. I smiled.
"Hello Roza, How are you feeling? is everything okay?" I asked
"Well, me and my mom don't really get along. But yeah, I'm fine." She said giving me a small smile. I nodded not wanting to force her to tell me anything.
"You know, I didn't expect you to play nice for the cameras," I said, She laughed and said "Yeah, I don't usually but I don't want her to destroy my night"
I laughed with her.
She played along with everything but there was definitely some tension there. She mostly hanged out with her friends and talked to everyone.
The cake was cut and everyone was making their way out when the lights suddenly went out.
"WHAT THE HELL!" Roza screamed and before I could even react she made a spin move and threw a knife that seemed to be on her hand out of nowhere in my direction.
"AHHHH!"
