Dimitri was too tired to even feel anger, he just wanted to sleep. Getting up that early might have not been the best idea ever.
Besides, It was one night, they could spend one night in the same room, right?

"agh, whatever, you know I could always go to a different hotel or something?" rose said sobering up from her sleepy state but Dimitri hadn't had that nap on the plane and there was no way he could sober up.

"rose, no, your dad would kill, come on I'm tired" and with that, they made their way to the room which was bigger then they had expected. You walked into a nice living room with a small kitchen area in the corner from there on you can walk into a one-bed, room. the be looked really good to Dimitri at that moment but rose was his guest and he couldn't just crash like that so he forced himself to put everything down and walk back to the living area with rose.

"the place is pretty big" Rose muttered to herself and Dimitri silently agreed.

"so, dinner then bed?"

"sure, I'll take the couch" rose offered and Dimitri was very tempted to say yes but he knew that was a jerk move, she was here with him, he had to make sure her experience was good.

"no, no, I'll take the couch," he said but then rose suggested something he was not expecting "e could both get the bed... "

"I mean! it's just one night right? how about we just kinda.. like it's not a big deal to me...agh I'm tired and it's barely after lunchtime" Dimitri wasn't sure about the idea, he had gotten the gist of it even with rose being barely understandable.

"are you sure you don't mind?"

"yeah I guess" and with that, they ordered their lunch or dinner they weren't sure and ate in front of a great view that could be seen from their room.
Jet-lagged and tired they barely spoke while eating but they did have some more jabs at each other.

"you know, you look all intimidating and scary and all that in first glance and then you're like a giant teddy bear"

"say's the cute little girl"

"you forgot the deadly part, deadly- wait! did you just call me cute? aww, thanks!"
And so their almost drunken banter went until Dimitri who had finished eating before rose stood up to get to bed.
"G'night" and with that he leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek before making this way to bed.
The realization of what he had done hit him big in the face a few minutes after he got into bed.
He kissed her cheek!! Sh*t!! He hadn't meant to, no of course not, but he was so used to kissing his sisters and mama on the cheek before bed that he hadn't even thought about it before kissing her! Dimitri couldn't stop thinking about how much of a weirdo she might think he is but also he was so tired and so he would have to deal with life later for now sleep overtook him.

Meanwhile, Rose Hathaway set in her chair facing Paris as her cheeks burned.
It's a stupid gesture everyone does some still functioning part of her brain said and she tried to focus on it but the blush and burn of that kiss was the only thing in the world at that moment.
Rose didn't know when she managed to get over it, to finish her food and make her way to the bed but both of them felt the burn of it as they slept through the afternoon.
